Herbert of Crawfordville, GA, writes:
This place advertised that they would help us lower our payments thru negotiations with our creditors. We were skeptical at first, but after a lot of discussion and reading paperwork sent to us we decided to give it a try. We signed power of attorney documents and a bunch of stuff to send our creditors. This was around Jan. 6th.

Everything seemed to be proceeding just fine. We came up with a plan on what we could afford and started sending in $400 a week. She said that we needed to build up money now so as she got creditors on line she had the money to send a payment right away. She tried to get us to use Paypal, but I have heard too much about it, so we sent her three different checks. We copied each one and was promised a receipt for each one.

We never got the first receipt. Then she calls and said that she had a creditor that had made an arrangement and she was sending payment out right away. That was on Feb. 5. On Feb. 6th we received a letter saying that the company was moving to the address that I gave you on the fact sheet. The old address was in Acworth Ga. It gave us the new address and phone number. It also said that the 800 number was still the same and to feel free to call. Its now Feb 13th and we haven't heard from them at all.

The fax line is busy. The 800 answers but the mailbox is full and has been all along. The new number rings, but to no avail. I am sending a letter and I am going to check with the creditor that she said she paid.
