When I called to cancel I was told they needed it in writing via email, fax, or US mail. I complied by writing them a hand-written letter and also emailed them, but I'm still getting billed. The economic damage has been extensive! On 3/16/05 they billed my account another $69 that was unexpected, but I survived it. So I again called, emailed and mailed another hand written letter. In April they again billed me, only this time it was 139.95!! How many times and how many ways do I have to tell them NO! They're still billing my bank and claim I never canceled!! After letting me back on, I had problems getting into the system, which they fixed but had to reset my account yet again causing me to lose even more messages. I've had problems throughout this with the system disconnecting me. This dating service has kicked users off for causing problems but letting these users back on for a $25 fee even if they have kicked off more than two times. I pay $140 for three months and I have lost messages that were very sentimental to me because of mistakes they made. I was hung up on when I gave me prior address instead of my new address when I had told the representative I wasn't sure which address they had on file. I had given her my old address and she said it wasn't right and hung up instead of letting me give her the new address. There have been several times where the Houston line for the service was not working and the representatives only were able to let you in during the day. The lines would be down at night and no one could let you in the system. |
