Classmates.com used my credit card info .to sign me up for an additional 3 months without my approval. I am very upset and will no longer be using their site. I'm calling them tomorrow and I expect to have my money returned ASAP.

I don't have a lot of my as I am unemployed so 15.00 is money I could have spent on food or some other necessary items

Automatic renewal for fourth time after requesting cancellation for three times.

Another 15/3 month charge and high blood pressure.

They take my money from my credit card twice and still say I need to join...cannot send e-mails to classmates, nor receive them or see them. I want out but can't find their address to send a letter let alone send an e-mail. HELP

Financial and ethical...this site should be booted off the internet.

I signed up a year ago for a 3 month trial. Nowhere did it mention a automatic renewal. I have been charged 39.00 for an account I did not authorize. I chatted with an online person who told me it is non-refundable and that it stated it when I originally signed up. Why would I automatically renew a trial account! I cannot even log on again to cancel my account.

Betty of St. James, MO February 6, 2009

Betty of St. James MO (02/06/09)
I signed up for Classmates for what I thought was a Special for a year. This was Dec. 27th, 2008. card used and debit was taken out Dec. 5th 2009.. 19.95 again. then 2nd debit was taken out Jan. 5th 2009 for 19.95. I wrote Email asking them to cancel my account as I can not pay 19.95 monthly. Then we see they made another debit Feb. 4th 2009...same amt. 19.95.

Is there a legal way to STOP these charges which we do not want any longer. I saw some where on the Inter net that Classmates is now in a class action suit to stop them from illegal charges. Please help us to stop this scam. Thank you.

We have been charged about 60.00 for something we no longer want as they have overcharged us for the one month we origionally were to pay 19.95 for and they continue to debit our card for unowed charges.
