Along with a numerous amount of other consumers. I am complaining about the automatic renewal fee of 39.99. I dont have a problem with the automatic renewal because I did read that but I in no way agreed to a 39.99 fee. I was under the assumption that the fee would be the same.

After numerous emails all Im getting from their Member Care Department is that you agreed for automatic renewal and there is no reimbursement. This should be a form of false advertisement. There should be a fee listed in the Terms of Service. For that matter they could charge anything they wanted. In one year a fee should not have doubled.

They charged my credit card. That sent my card over the limit. They should have at least sent an email stating that the term was ending and they would be charging my card at a certain date. They have no problem sending all these other stupid emails when someone you dont even know signs up.

I have misplaced the phone number; however, I called when they took 39.00 out of my account last month and I called and they will not back it out of my account, but will cancel it next year. I cannot believe this.

Within 60 min of joining I wrote to Classmates.com void my membership. They denied doing so only saying they would not charge my account in 2010. They solicited me saying many people were trying to contact me and once I was able to see their website I was aware that no-one was trying to find me.

1. signed in as a free member problem from the start they spelled my name all wrong. after many attempts gave up on classmates. 2. an old classmate found me through a friend and ask me to join. I did so. this time my name was correct. after membership ended. I no longer had access to classmates. would reset ID and password. classmates stated not enough information. they would send me codes would try them immediately only to find (error with this code). 3. friends say they still see my profile and photos.yet unable to get in. 4. found a phone number for classmates after a lot of research.Only to be told no one monitors their calls. got response with the my many attempts. 5. If you do not re enroll immediately seems in my case (you get closed out) WARNING BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS SITE.

After signing up as a "gold member" for 9.95 for classmates.com - I looked at my bank statement today and there was a charge for 19.95 for a credit report that supposedly classmates.com states that I clicked a box for a credit report. Wrong! So classmates.com gives out your personal info and debit card number. I had to call my bank and have it cancelled and have classmates.com blocked from ever charging again against my card. Their phone is listed on their site gives a recording that they are away at an off site business meeting. BS. The real I retrieved from my bank statement if you want to talk to a real person! Good luck and beware! Everyone please read all the complaints before joining this organization.

Classmates.com put me on a auto renewal program. My debit card was billed for 39.00 10/17/2009. I didn't sign up for the auto renewal.

I signed up for classmates.com for three months. I decided I did not want to continue. I found a charge for another three months on my credit card. I called them and they are going to take off the automatic payment that I did not sign up for but refuse to give me a refund for the 15.00. I aked for a supervisor but she said that there was none even though I heard people in the background. She told me that I had to hang up because I was hogging their line. What a nasty company.

I am being charged 15.00 a month and I, like many of you, don't remember selecting "auto-renew" of the monthly charge. I recently lost my check card and had it replaced. So I'm HOPING that that is the number Classmates.com is using and NOT my checking account number. If not, I'll use the number the poster Gerald listed below: 206-301-5900. Another poster named Lillian posted that she was able to speak with someone at Classmates.com and offered the number she used. However, she may have forgot to post it. Lillian, are you out there? Please post the phone number you used.

I joined "Face Book" on the internet to find old classmates. I am Not happy with the service and have tried...and tried...and tried to cancell my membership, but have been un-successful. Every link it tells you to click on the site will not let you click. After reading other comments it seems they have the same problem I have.

All I want to do is cancell it. I absolutely do not want it being charged to my account. If I have to cancell my credit card to achieve it then I guess that's what I will have to do. It doesn't seem like it needs to be so difficult, you aren't happy with a service, you cancel it. Not in this case. Can you help me cancell the thing so it doesn't keep automatically keep putting charges on my credit card? Thank you

Today I received my bank statement, and there was a 39.00 debit charge from Classmates. I called their number and was told that I had been a member for the previous year, and was automatically renewed as a member for another year. As far as I know, I have never been a paid member at this site. Scam City, huh? I have no need for being a member of Classmates!
