I just read my bank statement and this bank withdrew 99.95 from my bank account without permission. I called and received a recorder message from a woman with bad grammar and broken English. It definitely was not a professional answering system.

Reading other remarks online it must be a scam. My bank is investigating New Millenium and a police report in my town has been filed along with reports to the BBB and Attorney Generals offices in WI and NJ.

I applied for what I didn't know was a secured card with them, and they cashed my 59 check. No card obviously came. I have contacted them by phone, they put me on hold for 35 minutes, and finally put me with an operator who gave me an address, and said to get a refund I would need my application number, which they gave to me. I also filed a complaint with the NJ BBB because I felt like the application was deceptive. PLEASE POST THIS ON YOUR SITE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS AS WELL. I GOOGLED THEM AND GOT A PHONE NUMBER.

I lost 59.

I just want to defend New Millenium Bank after reading all these comments. Their credit card is a *secured* credit card. It is really a debit card. You deposit 1000 so your limit is 1000. It says it very clearly on their website. You guys don't read! The only reason you get this card is to repair your credit history. Otherwise, don't bother.

I recieved a letter in the mail from NMB for both Visa and Mastercard with a credit line of up to 10,000. It clearly states that you must open an account with a min.of 300.00. I decided to Google the bank and came across all of these complaints. I was horrified to say the least. I believe that many of you have been decieved, but I hope that maybe some of you can find some solice in knowing that because you took the time to write your complaint about NMB that you have saved my family from making a huge mistake. Thank you.
