I applied for an oldnavy.com credit card and was denied. I recieved a letter from Monogram credit card bank of Georgia that stated "your credit bureau file shows report of fraud: ID UNVERIFIABLE. You may contact T.U. consumer relations at 1 800 888 4213 for a copy of your credit report."

I checked all of my information on this letter -- name, address, social security number -- and everything was correct. I received my credit report from T.U. consumer relations and it showed that I have perfect credit. I want to know where Monogram sees that there is a report of fraud. They give no phone number for me to contact them.

I have had an account with Old Navy for about a year. In that time they have claimed three times that I sent the monthly payment late. I keep very accurate records of bills paid and have always paid 10-12 days ahead of the due date. Each of these three "late periods", I have been charged a $25 late fee. I have NEVER been late (in over 20 years of consumer spending with perfect credit) on any other bills.
