I was given an Aspire credit card limit of 300.  I have never used the card but somehow I now owe over a 1000 because they keep charging membership fees.  If the card is not being used it is incredible how the charges mount up based on zero activity.

Their so called customer service representatives are extremely rude and discurtious. They somehow have obtained my cellphone number, that I never gave them, and are now constantly calling me at work.  They are pestering me at all hours of the day and night consistently with abusive behavior.

I closed my Visa account in December 2005, but I keep getting bills when my balance should be zero. My balance now is up to 204.50!

The one time I tried to use this card online, for 24.95, it was declined, so I never tried using it again. The only charge I ever had was the 6.50 monthly maintenance fee, that I faithfully paid on time.  I had the account active to rebuild my credit.

I've called Customer Service twice and they say it shows my account is closed.  They tell me that the balance will be zeroed out since it is an annual fee with maintenace fees and now late fees on top of it, and not purchases made by me. But to get this resolved, has become a nightmare.

I am going to drive to GA from FL, in person, if this doesn't get resolved.  I want to make sure they zero it out in front of me!  I cannot believe this company is allowed to be in business.

Aspire originally called to say my wife was preapproved for a credit card. My wife wanted to get all the information regarding the credit card before she signed up for it. The gentleman was pushing for her personal info (ie. SSN, phone numbers, etc.) She gave our address and told him to mail the info so we could look it over. He kept demanding a SSN to be able to mail the info so she hung up.

The guy called back 6 times - each time with a different number so we cannot block it. He now calls daily and I have now told him that if he calls again, I will file a police complaint for harrassment. When I asked for a manager he hung up on me.

I received a call from a collection agent with this company that I have a credit card with. Since the call was received at work, I informed the rep that I was not allowed to have personal calls on my job.

She informed me of the card balance and I told her again I would have to call her back because I could not talk about this at work.  She continued to be harrassing and stated "it's on 24.00 you dont have that in your account. I again told her I could not discuss this at work and I disconnected the call.

I was questioned by my manager as to why I was on this call.  It could possiblly cause me to loose my job plus I felt very harrassed and threated.
