Joy of Fairfield CA (09/06/08) My payments are due on the 26th of each month and are 35.00. I have posted payment starting in April on the 22, May 25, June 15, July 3 and Aug 3. I go online to pay on Sept and find I am charged late fees and the total of 102.00. I pay 35.00 and call customer services. The say pay 102.00 now and 35.00 on the 26th. I tell them my payment is not due until the 26th and there is no lateness. The tell me to down load a merchant dispute form and fill it out and fax it. I am in the process of doing this now. They charge more extra fees than any company I know. It seems totally unfair. They charge a maintance fee of 10.95 each month and 6.95 for an online payment fee. What is all this.
It is the time and frustration it causes that makes me irate. It is hard enough to make payments without outrageous fee that are not legitmate being tacked on.

Antonia of Victorville CA (09/04/08) We have been harassed by Applied Bank, they call eveyday looking for a payment. They put us on a repayment plan to start in June of 2008 in the amount of 35.00 per month, they said after we made 3 payments of 35.00 our account would be brought current and they would report to the credit reporting companies as if we were never late. This was there re-age program. I asked for the terms in writing and they said they do not have anyting that I could take there word for this.
I made a mistake on the amount i sent on 7/8/08 so I sent 5.00 more) 8/1/08 35.00 ( they said this payment did not count because it fell in the same statment date as the July payment). 8/29/08 35.00 I get a call today 9/7/08 from Applied. at 12.30 pm. from there India center. They said they are calling looking for a payment. I went over with him all my notes. He told me that the 4 payments did not count because the amounts were split up, and that the account would not be re-aged or reported as never being late. He said they do not do that.
They wanted 3 months of payments in the amount 35.00 a total of 105.00 I sent 145.00. in a 3 month period. On there statment I have no due date it just says Due Now. What can we do ? Like I said we know we owe this but the calls are really bad. I work at home as a State Licensed Child Care provider, Because of the budget problem in Ca. I have 2 clients on the sub. child care payment program and I am also on the USDA food program. I am still wainting to be paid for the months of July, Aug and now going into Sept.
I work from home I have told applied and other bill colectors that I work from home they do not care they call all day long and wont take a simple answer from me. I can't take my eyes off the kids. I am stressed out from this company My heart races evetime i pick up the phone. I have complained many times they have notes about my cpmplaints. I am tired of being bothered at work and I have made my paynents as promised. They have not kept there word. Help Yes a lawyer can call me.

Nikiya of Detroit MI (08/26/08) I have repeatedly told them that they have the wrong number for a customer they are trying to collect a debt from. They have continued to call anyway. It has started to become harassment.

Michele of Byron IL (08/26/08) I am having the same problems with this credit card as everyone else. pyramiding fees which is illegal by the way. late fees every month-over the limit and maintence fee- i have been in contact with the state banking commission in Delware they are going to try and help me. check out there web site the more people that complain maybe we can all find some relif somehow.

Alva of Virginia Beach VA (08/22/08) I have an applied bank cc with a 1000 credit line, plus of course their ridiculous 10.95 fee and super high interest rate. I lost my job in Mar 08 and so I called Applied to close my account that has never defaulted, i make my payments on time and it has never defaulted. Well i was promptly imformed i would still be charged 10.95 per month whether i kept it open or not.
Try as I may, it was a useless and complete waste of my time, so i kept it open, I still don't have a job and struggle every single month to pay my bills on top of this credit card.
I can't pay this card any longer and after reading all the posts on here, I unfortunately will most likely face the same harrasing phone calls, because i simply can't do it anymore, the way it's going and me only making minimum payment of 42, while they add 10.96 and nearly 17 in finance, it's like im not making any payments at all.
Worst credit card I have ever had the misfortune to come across.
