Allison of Earlington KY (7/17/03):
I purchased a Revlon Gold-plated hair straightener at a Wal*Mart Supercenter almost exactly a year ago, and all of the sudden, even though I used it properly and maintained it very well, it will not heat up at all. I demand my money back because that is a vital piece of equipment in my daily routine and if they cannot make products that stand the test of time, maybe I should refuse to buy any of their products any more. It was a year! I have curling irons and blow dryers that last longer than that!

All in all I think this is more of a complaint about Revlon making equipment that is guaranteed for longer than it should be. I'm out about $25, but it's not the money, it's the principle. It causes me a great deal of stress when I can't get out of the house to buy another one with my hair looking like a complete frizzball.
