I had been using Crest 'Vivid White' and 'Vivid White Night' toothpaste off & on for several months. The taste buds on the tip of my tongue became numb and looked as though they had been burned off- it was completely smooth. It burned, was sore and VERY painful when I ate, drank, or did neither. It became Very difficult to even speak because my tongue felt squeaky against my teeth and felt Disgusting! I seriously thought it was caused by the coffee I was drinking (flavorings?), or maybe the beef jerky I had been eating (sodium level?) or maybe it was salsa (jalepenos & spices?), even though I had never had those kind of reactions before.

FINALLY, after having this miserable problem every day for the last Four Months, it occurred to me that perhaps it was caused by the toothpaste that I had been using! I haven't used it for about 2 weeks now, and Finally my tongue is healing and I feel MUCH better. No more pain when I talk, eat or drink. I never went to the doctor, but I seriously have considered it! Also, I had used Crest White Strips periodically before trying this toothpaste, and they made my teeth AND gums ACHE terribly! My gums were practically raw and my teeth were so sensitive to Everything.

I'm hoping that there won't be any longterm damage to my tongue or tastebuds because of this toothpaste. I haven't found any online warnings posted regarding this specific product, but I have noticed that Target (where I had purchased them) doesn't carry it anymore!

I used crest pro-health (which should be called crest non pro-health), and it was almost like the inside skin in my mouth was peeeling off. It took me a week to realize that this toothpaste was poison. I also experienced blisters in my mouth and a soar throat. I thought I was a goner. This stupid toothpaste should be taken off the market.

I purchased Classic whitestrips (tooth whitening). The product did not work. There is the # 1-800 on the box & they have a money back guarantee. After ringing for a long time it says all circuits are busy (several times, it took hours). When I tried to send an email by clicking the email tab on their website that requires filling out many boxes (I did them all), it comes back with a resopnse that says The email address you provided is already in the database. Use the browser Back button to return to the previous page to correct these problems- this response has nothing to do with them receiving an email that I sent them & whether or not I'm in the database is irrelevant. My contact info was input into the fields! P&G is required to keep track of what % of people who contact them complain.

If they don't pick up the phone or answer emails, they can make a high percent seem like only 1% (as they claim for one of their products). Also, they don't publish their mailing adress. I've wasted hours. Does anyone know what agency to report them to? I want a refund (plus all the time I put into trying to communicate with them and documenting how they don't receive emails, snail mail or phone calls has sucked up my time & money).

Teeth were not whitened after 2 days of use (product claims to continuously whiten for 14 days) also my teeth hurt from using this- the nerves hurt.

I have been using Crest ProHealth for several weeks. My gums began swelling and bleeding when I brushed. I was in intense pain and visited the dentist several times until he determined that I was allergic to Crest ProHealth. By the time this was determined my entire mouth was swollen, I had horrible sores and was experiencing severe pain. I have no known allergies and I am a healthy person but for some reason my body was not able to tollerate Crest ProHealth.

Several visits to the dentist, dental fees, x-rays, pain and suffering

I used Crest Pro-Health Cinnamon flavor toothpaste. I have used other Crest products with no problems. I had allergic reactions that initially I attributed to some dried fruit I bought at the time. So it took a couple days before I realized that it was the toothpaste: swelling of cheeks, slight swelling of tongue, some swelling along the throat. A disaster. There are no side effects warnings on the toothpaste.
