Margie of Aurora IL (02/27/09) After brushing with Crest ProHealth toothpaste, I got stringy mucus looking stuff inside my mouth and my tongue felt numb. My husband experienced soreness inside his mouth that did not subside until we changed to another product.
I question the safety of Crest ProHealth toothpaste!

Sarah of Jacksonville IL (02/21/09) I saw a commercial for Crest Pro-Health toothpaste and started using it one of the mint flavors and never had a problem. When that ran out I went out and bought the Cinnamon flavor and at first liked it (or so I thought). The next morning I had a VERY sore throat but didn't relate that to the crest because I work in a hospital so I figured I had strep or something. I had a strep done and it was negative, so I just took some otc medicine and it got better. I was still using the toothpaste and didn't think about what could cause all the symptoms I started getting like getting sores all over my mouth, my teeth were throbbing, especially in the back, and it felt like my fillings were loose. Then I bought a new electric toothbrush and as soon as started using it I was getting sore throats and nosebleeds all the time. I decided to search some things, and found other people are having the SAME problems and no one is doing anything, and as far as I know, Crest or the makers of it haven't even acknowledged this! This is very painful and has caused me a lot of stress! They should pull this Pro Health toothpaste off the market! I will never buy Crest again.

Jennifer of Fayetteville NC (02/03/09) Crest Pro Health Night Clean Night Mint is causing an allergic reaction. I have sensitive skin and never experienced a problem with toothpaste ever. It has caused my lips to crack and red bumps and hives around my lips and chin. Hives on my face. Caused gums to bleed. Husband used same stuff no reaction, but he doesn't have sensitive skin. Product needs warning label for those with sensitive skin.
Uncomfortable itchy face and dry lips for a week now. Took me a couple days to figure out. Label states sensitive which is misleading. Just annoying because simple warning stating side effects for those with sensitive skin could have easily prevented this. Bethany of Lynn, MA February 2, 2009
Bethany of Lynn MA (02/02/09) I had been using Crest pro-health toothpaste for about 1 year now. I usually stick to the Crest Pro-Health Night flavor, but that flavor was not available at the bulk store. So about 1 month ago I bought a 3-pack in bulk of Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste in the Clean Mint flavor. After 1 and a half months my teeth have started to stain drastically. I have NEVER had any problems with my teeth. They are naturally straight and have always been VERY white. It runs in my family.
HOWEVER, after I used the 1st tube of this toothpaste the bottom insides and top insides of my teeth started staining in a DARK BROWN color. The staining is ESPECIALLY prevalent along my gum lines and in between my front teeth (both upper and lower teeth.) It seriously looks like I am a meth-head or I have been chewing tobacco for years. My teeth are now HURTING majorly in between and around all the areas where the staining has occurred. I am so afraid that my teeth are ROTTING out of my mouth b/c I can literally feel my teeth THROBBING asking for help.
My teeth have NEVER felt like this before IN MY LIFE. I do not drink coffee, don't smoke, and have NEVER done a single drug in my ENTIRE life. After searching online about the Crest pro-health products, I have come to realize that this is the ROOT of my problem. I am DISGUSTED and EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED that a product like this can remain on the market after what it has done to so many people. Before I go to the dentist and spend hundreds of dollars to get these stains removed, I am taking detailed pictures of what this product has done to my teeth. They look HIDEOUS!
I will make it my personal mission to get this product off of store shelves so that it cannot harm anyone else's teeth. Then I am filing a lawsuit against Crest for the money that I have to spend to get my teeth cleaned. I know that most complaints have been about the Crest Pro-Health rinse, but I never used the rinse. HOWEVER, I am living proof that the problem is also with the CREST PRO-HEALTH TOOTHPASTE IN CLEAN MINT FLAVOR.
I have made a Dr's appt. I don't know how much, but I do know I will have to spend hundreds of dollars to repair my teeth and remove these horrible dark brown stains. Bethany of Lynn, MA February 2, 2009
