I used Crest Extra Whitening Mint Splash on 4/13/09, and as I was brushing there was a very bad stinging sensation (somewhat like acid) inside my mouth. The pain was very excruciating and the only relief that I got was to rinse with cold water for almost an hour. The inside of my mouth is red and swollen, especially my lower lip. I decided to google Crest and was very surprised to find all the complaints regarding Crest products.

I used Crest Whitening Expressions Cinnamon Rush flavor toothpaste April 4 2009. After I used 2-3 days I noticed that my lip numb and dry. My taste bud gone and I many sore in my mouth. I've never had a topical reaction like this before.I concluded that the toothpaste had caused this reaction. I got online and looked up allergic reaction to Crest and found this consumer list of complaints. I am not going to be using this crazy toothpaste ever again!

Last week my wife bought a new toothpaste by Crest. It is called Whitening Expressions, Extreme Herbal Mint. since I brushed my teeth with this toothpaste I have gradually lost my taste. I can smell fine and taste bitter in the back of my tongue, but I can not taste any sweet, sour or salt. It is horrible. It has been five days with no recovery. I am making an appointment with a doctor in the morning. please contact me if you have experienced the same thing. I hope I get my taste back.

I started using crest pro-health products approximately (1)year ago. I began experiencing a drool at night when I would sleep and my entire tongue turned brown like I had been eating chocolate, I had no taste in my mouth, and the left side of my mouth became so sore that I would tuck my tongue down in the area between my lip and gum line for a little relief. The left side of my teeth where feeling like I had several bad cavities although upon getting checked I had no cavities.

It became so bad that I had to brush my teeth two times in the morning to try and get the brown film off of my tongue. The second thing that happened was my face broke out on both sides of my mouth causing ugly scars that have turned brown and have left ugly marks. I went to two Dermotologist and the first one said he has never seen anything like this and referred me to a specialist who took one look at me and asked me a series of questions and one included what type of Toothpaste do you use I told him Crest pro-health cinnamon flavor he ordered me to stop immediatly, he gave me some cream to apply to my face. My mouth has somewhat cleared up, my taste buds have somewhat come back the brown film is slowly leaving and my teeth don't feel like they are falling out of my mouth. As for the sores on my face they are healing slowly and are very embarrasing.

Please,Please Crest take this product off the shelves before someone becomes deathly ill. I am very disappointed in Crest Tooth paste as I've grown up with their products and thought that you would have a quality product and take responsibility for a harmful product to it's consumers.

I have to deal with the long term scaring on my face and the brown film that continues to grow on my tongue as a result of your product in which you are not taking any responsibily in.

After brushing with Crest ProHealth toothpaste, I got stringy mucus looking stuff inside my mouth and my tongue felt numb. My husband experienced soreness inside his mouth that did not subside until we changed to another product.

I question the safety of Crest ProHealth toothpaste!
