Clinique Men - Razor Defense |
|||||
|
Within a few minutes following application of the lotion my skin began to burn, turned red and became extremely irritated where I had shaved on my neck. I am a Registered Nurse so I looked to see what the ingredients of the product were so I could either determine what to use to stop and treat the adverse skin reaction or contact Poison Control for some assistance. The product tube of "Razor Defense Face Lotion" does not list the ingredients. Their customer service office is not open on weekends so they were of no assistance. I developed a red, rash-like irritation on my neck after treating the area with a paste of Baking Soda & water (3:1). The following day the rash remains and my skin is dry and rough and feels like "alligator" skin or how burn patients' skin feels after a 1st/2nd degree superfical burn. I am writing because the tube does not contain the ingredients (which I thought was mandatory) so I could treat myself without delay and gain some immediate relief. |
