Marjorie of Alton IL (8/30/02): Last spring (2002) I bought 2 bottles, as usual, of Clinique "dramatically different" moisturizing lotion, 4.2 FL. OZ. for $12.50 a piece. This month I bought two bottles of the same moisturizer--offered only in 1.7 OZ-for $10.50. Please note that the free samples of this product are 0.5 OZ. They have raised their cost from $3.00/ounce to $6.00/ounce. This is outrageous!
The salesperson stated that the 4.2 OZ bottles have not been for sale for 2 years. I bought 2 bottles of the 4.2 OZ last spring, 2002. I bought a pump for the 4.2 OZ bottle last spring. This, by the way, is a marvelous product. However, it will not fit the small 1.7OZ bottle. The larger bottle of moisturizer is too large to carry when traveling. I travel very often. This inconvenience is aggravating.
