I order from Microsoft Store online, order: #***********, order date: 10/11/2009, Windows 7 Ultimate Backup Media DVD for $14.95. Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade download, product key, price: $219.99. I received my download and it needed the product key to continue. I waited for the product key and when I received it, did not work. I was told I need to use the key within 15 days from purchase (it did not arrive until at lease 30 days after purchase). Then I was told I would need to buy a product key replacement at the price of $45.00, it did not work. I informed them and another was sent just like the ones before that did not work. When my back up disk arrived in Baguio City, Philippines by mail, I used it to get everything in order. I still needed to use my product key that did not work and at this time my computer reads: these are not genuine Windows Ultimate 7 products and will cause harm to your computer. Finally, after so many complications out of my computer and many notifications of these products to Windows Microsoft with out a reply as of today. I took the Windows 7 off. I did not have space to save my valuable information, so I had to loose it when I replace the Windows 7 with Vista Home.

I contacted Microsoft WGA about my software that showed to be counterfeit. I had gotten on screen messages telling me to resolve the situation. My software was installed by someone else that I had hired privately when I was having trouble installing the software (download) I bought from Journey.ed. Windows 7 worked fine until I tried to get updates that is when I decided to do the right thing and buy new software from Microsoft. The sales did not go very smoothly and seemed unprofessional and I felt somewhat suspicious. The salesperson told me that my credit card did not accept the charge so I gave my card info again and was confirmed that it was correct. I gave them another card's info when the same thing happened again.
Finally I told them that I would be in contact with them later. There was no reason that the charges would not go through. A couple of days later, I got a text message from my bank that there were charges made to my card over my specified amount. Now I am really irked about the situation. I am very disappointed about the whole deal and Microsoft. I contacted WGA and they said that the charges would be reversed and advised my card company about my complaint with WGA. Now today I get another text from my card company and was asked if I authorized a $699 charge. This is absurd and very disturbing. What can I do to resolve my complaints with Microsoft WGA?

I just bought a 2100 laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate. Microsoft does not want to provide tech support because it is OEM. I explained I paid $200 for the OS that is suppose to perform. The computer crashes by itself. Also, it is continuously going to the internet for something I don't know and this control of my privacy is wrong.
Microsoft's control and abuse needs to be stopped. Why do they want to charge for a new product that is not working? I couldn't buy a computer without OS?I regret buying this windows computer. If I knew about this new game of control, I would have bought a MAC computer.

I placed an order for the new Xbox Kinect on 11/4/2010. I was advised that delivery would be in 5-7 business days. I called back on the 13th to confirm that the following Monday, I would receive it. It was then I was told by a rep named Carlos, as well as his supervisor, that my order was canceled due to a heavy backlog. I did not receive an email or anything. I requested an explanation. They did not have one, of course. I was then advised that I needed to reorder and they would send it second delivery via UPS, no extra charge to me. Go figure. I took off from work on 11/18 to ensure that I would be home to get my Kinect. As the hours passed, no UPS. I called Microsoft back to inquire on my order and they said that they shipped it and that it was between me and UPS at this time. I told them "I did not make a payment to UPS and I expect to receive my product".
I would have never imagined that a retailer such as Microsoft would settle for such poor customer service. They can barely speak English from one rep to the next. All you get are runaround and lies. Even the so-called supervisors are a disgrace. This company, even as far as giving me a tracking number for UPS and needless to say when I contacted UPS, they did not have it in the system. Their rep was kind enough to search several different ways. Microsoft lied! I would have really expected so much more from something attached to Bill Gates, but I guess his money is so long he doesn't have time to care because he is too busy counting.
I have searched for ways to contact David Porter (VP). Nothing. It's not at all about the money, however, I am a person of principles and I am disgusted that there is no way to reach an English speaking person to resolve this matter in a satisfactory manner. ** Bill Gates and the rest of his puppets seem to have forgotten that it's the little, ordinary, hardworking people such as myself that helped them get where they are today.

I ordered Windows 7 from Microsoft , which I was unable to download. I placed a fault report and have not received a satisfactory response. I now requested for a full refund, plus interest. I find that it is a said state that I cannot trust Microsoft.

I have several MS Bluetooth KB/Mouse kits that use the MS mini transceiver. A few of those transceivers have been lost/stolen. Being that the mouse and KB are still relatively new, I thought I would just buy a few replacement transceivers. Guess what? MS does not sell just the $10 transceiver. The online store, the MS parts store, as well as the store in California, told me they do not sell just that part. This sounds very unfair to me.
I bet if mine failed under warranty, they would get me one very quickly. So now I have to buy a new KB/Mouse just to get a wireless KB and Mouse to work again. Sure, I can by a non-MS branded transceiver, but MS's own website says, "Using a different transceiver for your Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard or mouse is not supported by Microsoft. For more details, see the documentation included with your other transceiver." In other words, like many MS items, it doesn't seem to be built to play nice with others. No more MS products for me. I have to buy new KB and Mice just to get a working mouse and KB. And they won't be MS branded, trust me.

Microsoft has taken money out from my credit card without my permission or my authorisation. When I contacted them to explain this issue to them, they were not interested and kept were in denial. They would not put a senior person for me to speak to on the phone also they refused to provide me with and further communications such as email (to send in copy of bank statement with unauthorised deduction). Although it is a small amount, i did not give permission MICROSOFT to take any money from my credit card.

I ordered the Windows 7 upgrade and paid for overnight delivery because I was going on a business trip. It took 5 days to arrive. I also just ordered the download of Office 2007. After two hours I still couldn't download it. I cancelled the order. In trying to resolve these issues I have had to speak to a foreign woman who didn't just have an accent ... She ido not speak more than a few words of English and was constantly grasping for the word she wanted to use.

I ordered microsft windows 7 update through microsoftstore.com after speaking with a customer rep over the phone who recommended the wrong version to buy and download. After trying to install the wrong version 10/13/09 i got an error message and called back customer rep who said i will get a refund to my credit card and told me another version to buy and download from their website 10/14/09 which was once again the wrong version and was told i will get another refund to my credit card and i finally purchased and downloaded on the third attempt the correct version on 10/15/09. I have since called microsoftstore.com on 4 occassions with 8 different reference numbers for my complaint of failure to credit my credit card and have even alerted my credit card company still to no avail. This is going on now for one month. $213 + $125 for both wrong versions of software that i have yet to receive refund to my credit card for.
