Hewlett-Packard Cameras |

I purchased the HP Photosmart 318 Digital camera through Dell Computers when I ordered my computer 5-17-02. The camera worked on and off for a few months. Less then 20 pictures were ever taken. I called HP Support for help 9-25-03 because the camera was giving me an Error 108 and I could not find the code in the HP User Guide or at HP's web site. I was given a case number, 927303870397, and told to fax all information to HP (800-563-4860) which I did (9-28-03,1-30-2004 and 2-9-04). I never received a reply. I then sent a complaint to HP's web-site 6-21-2004, and was told that Error 108 means the camera cannot be fixed and is useless. They were willing to "upgrade" my camera for a new one for X amount of dollars, depending on the camera I chose. I e-mailed back that since my camera can't be fixed and was obviously defective, I would like HP to replace it. I was told a supervisor would be calling me in 3 days to discuss this issue and no one ever called. I e-mailed HP Total Care asking why, and they assured me someone would call. It's been 8 days more, and I'm not willing to put this off any longer. They never responded to my faxes, so I can only assume they are putting me off once again. Report Your Experience
