Hewlett Packard has a great reputation. Whether it is still performing at the level we've come to expect is another question.

There's rampant speculation that H-P will follow IBM out of the ruinously competitive PC business. With Dell having invaded the printer business, it's hard to see how the future looks very good from H-P's perch.

And then there are those cute little inkjet and laser cartridges.
