Epson

Leonard of Brown Deer WI (07/03/08)
Epson Printer ink rebate: Once again my rebate coupons and receipts are ignored and there is no rebate for me. This is a coupon rebate ripoff ( Yet another .)Product: Printer ink . I sent them all of the required data and original receipts for the rebate. They returned to me someone elses rebate sheet telling me I did not qualify.

I did qualify. All of my data was correct. This is just another rip off. It's been done to me so many times by various vendors I would need all day to write a letter of complaint.

My printer goes in the dumpster. I have told everyone, DO NOT BUY EPSON products.

Mike of Ridgeland, SC May 12, 2008

Mike of Ridgeland SC (05/12/08)
I purchased this photo printer in November of 2005 from Staples for 179.98. There was a 50 mail-in-rebate advertised with this printer. I filled out all the paperwork correctly and sent it in. Several months later, the envelope was returned with my receipt, UPC and everything. There was no explanation.

I later called them and they told me that purchases from Staples do not qualify for the rebate. There is nothing on the rebate form that excludes Staples from being the point of purchase. I contacted Epson Customer Service several times over the following year to see if they would send my rebate which they continue to decline. That is false advertising. For that I am filing a formal complaint with the BBB and The United States Department of Justice's Office of the Attorney General. Moreover, I have not and will not purchase or recommend purchase of any Epson products until I receive my rebate. Resolution Sought: I would like my 50 rebate honored as promised.

Tureon of East Point, GA December 6, 2007

Tureon of East Point GA (12/06/07)
On November 28,2007, I received a check in the mail from EPSON Financial Bank for the amount of 4,850.00 made out to me. But with the check was a notice stating that I had won the Pacific Lottery drawing held on the 5th of November and that I have been approved for a lump sum pay out of 1,500,000.00 USD in cash. It also stated that my funds were now deposited with a Security Company City financial bank and insured in my name. The escrow account is with Cognis& Epson. And it also said enclosed is a legitimate small portion of my winnings and I must call them to activate the check before going to the bank for security reasons. To begin my lottery claim, please contact my claims agent, Mr. John Klaid at 1-778-316-3374 for processing and mailing of your winning prize to the designated address.

It stated that all prize money must be claimed no later than November 15th, 2007. But I didn't receive my letter until the 28th of November. So I contacted Mr. John Klaid and advised him My name and that I just received my check in the mail. Mr. John Klaid told me that my funds were still good and ask for my check number, so I gave him my check number and he told me that he was going to call EPSON and tell them to activate my check and to go ahead and deposit it in my account. I told him that I didn't have a checking account, that I had a saving account shared with my 6yr old daughter. Mr. John Klaid informed me that that was fine and to call him back when I deposited the check into the account. So I went to my credit union and deposited the check into my savings and called him back and let Mr. John Klaid know. He told me that it will take 5 business days for the check to clear and then in 4 to 6 weeks the rest of my lottery money will arrive through FEDEX mail.

I had went ahead and made payment arrangements with my credit cards, rent office, and car loan people telling each one that I can pay them on the 6th of December when my bank check clears. Upon arriving at my credit union on the 6th of December to make a withdrawal the bank teller told me that I no longer have any funds.
