I have several faxes already to the number provided by support no response and no help.

I want to know what must be done to get them to fix this issue. I have tried talking to several no will help. I have proof of purchase. I don't know what to do please advise

Shan of Decatur, GA June 2, 2009

I purchased an emachine desktop computer about April, 18, 2007; paid cash as Walmart. Hooked up computer that day, and computer had no power surge. Immediately contacted Tech Support, they could not walk us through problem, and promised a return call from a Contractor they contract with in 48-hours. That called never happened. Called again, tech support attempted to assist me to no avail.

I was asked to leave computer on over night to wait for power surge. Called back again, spoke with supervisor who promised to process a Paid-Return slip for a replacement; that never happened. I had an emergency and went out of town for three days, returned home and not Paid-Return slip. Returned computer to Walmart and was told Expiration for returning computer had expired. Finally received slip to return computer, and Gateway sent me a Refurbished unit filled with Virus's - not a NEW replacement. Outraged, supervisor offer to fix Refurb unit and told me they NEVER replace NEW computers; always a Refurb. Also, told to check Warranty online. There was NO Warranty in the box and I was told after the fact.

Also, Microsoft Product Key info was not in the box - no paperwork in the box? To this date I'm still having problems with the computer, and Emachines refuse to help me because one year Warranty expired; Before expiration of Warranty, the refused to assist me with onging problems with this Refurb unit I have. I was Robbed, there should be a law to protect consumers from this kind of fraud, please help me. Thank you.

Sheba of Bolingbrook, IL May 31, 2009

I purchased an emachine computer from my local walmart on May 4th 2009, 2week later I had problems with connecting to he internet. The cs rep resert the computer. Now a week later the computer is not working after another csr stated he can restarted the computer as if it was brand new.

Still nothing has changed with the computer. I called microsoft windows they told me they can not do anything for and contact my cable company. I called by cable company they told be to call the company which is emachines. Emachines said they can't do anything for me. I wpould like to know why BBB have not look into this. I want my money back and the warrently I paid in walmart for.

Jeanna of Fort Campbell, KY April 29, 2009

Back in 2006 my husband and I purchased an emachines T6420 K8 desktop. We were, fortunetly, smart enough to get an extended warranty through Best Buy. Within six months, the power supply went on the fritz and had to be replaced. A year later, the power supply went out again folloed closely by the motherboard. Then, two months later it happened again.

I got the computer back and packed it for our move and didn't manage to unpack it and turn it on for four months after the last repair. Well nothing worked. Unfortunetly, my extended warranty expired during my move and I didn't know it. Sow now I have a huge paper weight that no one will touch. EMachines is selling substandard equipment and refusing to acknowledge they are lemons. DO NOT BUY THIER PRODUCTS.

Steven of Mineral Wells, WV April 24, 2009

Bought an emachine from Walmart just lasted a month then I herd a loud pop then a sizzling sound from inside that was it, now I get the pleasure of paying the shipping to send it back to emachine so they can fix it..just wanting to let everyone know .......not.....to buy these junk things.........and as for Walmart lets just say they will not help you if it is past 15 days...I will not be going back there either....

Steven of Mineral Wells, WV April 24, 2009

Bought an Emachine computer on 3/11/09 the hard drive stopped working, would not even start up on 4/24/09. called the Mod and told her about this I know I was asking a favor and store policy is computers have only a 15 day retern policy but I also know how retail works since I was a vendor and now a dept. manager at a big box myself, anyway she told me to bring it in and she would take care of it for me. I get there wait around for them to call an mod up front all together around 20 minuets or so, just to be told the dam policy...after driving in wasting gas that realy sucks..anyway Myself and my 200.00 a week for groceries will be driving an extra mile down the road to foodland from now on boycotting Walmart!

Rudy of Fort Wayne, IN April 21, 2009

I purchased a T6420 Emachine from Best Buy in 2007. 2 weeks after 1 year warranty expired mother board goes out. I called to check if Emachines would replace motherboard and they did only because it was 2 weeks after warranty. As of 4/13/09 motherboard went out again. This time i will have to purchase one. I have a dinosaur gateway i purchased when they were a hot item and it still works like a charm. If anyone knows how to get a free motherboard or a lawsuit going on this I'm in. All i want is a mother board that will last.
