Gamers Irate Over NFL Madden 2008 Glitches
Consumer complaints

Robert of Kentwood, MI April 7, 2008

Robert of Kentwood MI (04/07/08)
I have, as many have, been unable to play Madden NFL 2008. The game freezes consistently during its single player franchise mode, and as a result, I do not play it at all.

This game was a waste of 60.

Ok! I had a glitch in madden. This is what happened. The guy had called a auditable vince young the QB lined up behind my safety while the rest of the team lined up normal he hut the ball from behind my safety and ran straight up with it for a touchdown. I have never seen anything like that before ever. I am not to happy with the glitch's in the game.

I lost the game.

Madden 08 is the worst Madden ever and is so unfair and poorly designed I may have to start buying an alternative. I have bought every Madden since 1999 and usually go the day it comes out but am terribly disappointed this year. I put Madden 08 on all madden because all pro is extremely too easy and all of a sudden the computer has like super human powers. There players catch everything on defense while yours continue to drop every interception opportunity. It is unrealistic, I want it to be competitive but no player can jump 6 or 8 yards to sack me every play or make me fumble all the time while the computer never makes a mistake. Also there is a mysterious football that appears on the field a lot of the time and will not go away. You are forced to play with this football sitting on the field and you play right over it. I paid 60 for this junk and next year it needs major improvements. All madden setting needs total reconfiguration and make it at least half fair because now it is impossible to play and they have designed the game with no thought as to how unfair and unpractical the game is. MADDEN 08 IS TERRIBLY DESIGNED!

Madden for the 360 is a very big disappointment. One cannot play the game because of the defensive ability to blitz up the middle every play. There is no way to defend against it on offense. I have purchased my last game of Madden.

Jerald of Marion, OH March 1, 2008

Jerald of Marion OH (03/01/08)
I was a die-hard Madden fan. I have always rushed out and bought Madden every year. I feel that I was a good, dependable customer. But the game has gone so far downhill that I can no longer see the point of wasting money on it. And I feel that Madden and the NFL are responsible for the fact that there is no alternative NFL title. So here I am stuck playing NFL2K5 (which is by far the best game now that it is backwards compatible) which came out 3 seasons ago. I am both disgusted and helpless at the hands of EA.
