I have used 10-10-275 long distance on/off for at least 18 months. I paid only if I made a phone call, and it was billed on my local phone bill. I never paid any other hidden fees, until now. I have now been charged $2.95 for a "low usage fee." I was never told about this fee. I stopped using regular phone company long distance for this same problem - no usage or low usage fees. Now these 10-10 companies are sneaking in these fees unfairly. These fees are not currently posted on their websites.

I think 10-10-275 is now a scam and the government should not allow this, it's robbery without a gun. I plan on calling Fairpoint (my local phone company which is usually a nightmare to deal with) and I might have to disconnect my phone which means no more dial-up Internet either. I'll do anything to avoid paying WorldxChange's unjust fees. I will never use any long distance service ever again, especially 10-10 numbers.

Received phone bill (verizon) on the bill i have a bill for 198.00 and 19.60 for services on 2.1.03 @1:28am & 1:30am
I phone worldxchange @1800-569-8700.I'm told to phone 1-866-365-8700 for solomon islands! I spoke with chistina on 2/15 case #71560 and explain i do not have a dial up system. i have roadrunner service provided by s.i. cable.

I received phone bill (verizon) i was given credit from usbi? and credit from worldxchange a total of 69.14.

I phone 1-866-365-8700 speak with scott, who informs me i received a 30% discount because i was not satisfied! how do you get not satisfied from not being your bill! then i spoke with brandon the supervisor. i'm told you can be transfer to your phone line from a cable line. which we all know you cannot. I explain we could not have dialed up this sight, because we do not have a dial up system.I ask what was viewed or downloaded. I'm told they don't know.

Well, then i guess my 11 year old must have manage to connect a phone line to our computer @1:28am. I need to know if the companies are legal. Do I have a right to fight this charge or will it affect my credit.

We have over $200 in long distance charges to the Solomon Islands on our Sprint bill. We called the company and were told we agreed to a dial up internet connection. However, not only did we NOT do this, but the telephone line being charged is our dedicated FAX line and we do not have a computer hooked up to ANY of our residential telephone lines!!! They have been very difficult to contact and no one is willing to do anything. We looked online, and found several other news articles and news station consumer advocate reports of the exact same thing happening to others.
