Thao of Cranston, RI July 27, 2008

Thao of Cranston RI (07/27/08)
In January of 2008 Verizon had sent my business a bill with a charge of 74.79 from ILD. Feb. 2008 Verizon had place another charge of 37.40 from ILD. I had paid both of these plus what was my regular charge from Verizon. I had called ILD and Verizon to dispute the bill and have the matter resolve. ILD contact person was Amy, at extention 350. Amy had stated that my business will be credited with the amount paid within one business billing cycle. No refund have been received from ILD.

March and April no charges appeared from ILD, but in May, June, and July there was a 53.45 for each of these months. I had called to Verizon to complaint but Verizon dismissed my call and the representative hangs up on my complaint. Please advise of any action that I could take to ensure that this matter and all the non-senses that my business and I are going through does not happen to anyone else.

Time lost to get this matter resolved ,the aggrevation and credit damage that will be on my credit report for not paying the 53.45 in the month of May, June, and July. My son and daughter had to take time out from their busy schedule to translate and write letter, make phone calls on my behalf. The worry still linger because of the 3 months that I've decided not to pay for the ILD charges.

After reviewing my phone bill and discussing it with QWEST Communications I noticed a charge from ILD for a 14.95 voicemail package. I immediately called ILD and was told I'd signed up online. I've been using the internet since the beginning and don't surf shady websites, yet they hooked me somehow. After a brief shouting match, I was told the 'services' would be canceled, while the entire time the woman on the phone was trying to convince me of the benefits they offered. Are you kidding me? Talk about brazen!

Interesting we are all being charged different amounts for the same 'services'. At any rate, the best thing we can do as consumers is find out which of our senators and congressmen are receiving campaign money from these thieves and blocking legislation against them and throw them out of office. Third party billing is an abuse that has gone on far too long.

14.95 so far and I'm told there may be another 14.95 next month 'because the billing process has already taken place for this month'.

Sheila of Orchard Park, NY July 25, 2008

Sheila of Orchard Park NY (07/25/08)
I was billed on my telephone bill for ILD services I did not request in the amount of 24.94 and an additional 9.99. When I called Verizon my phone provider, they said someone authorized these charges. I talked to no one from this company. I had to call ILD services directly. They said they would cancel one of the charges but was givenanother number to call to cancel the rest of the charges. I have tried several times to reach this number and it is busy all the time. Yet I was told they would not cancel them until I told them to take them off. I still have been unable to reach them.

I HAD TO WASTE AN HOUR OF MY TIME PLUS THE FRUSTRATION OF TAKING CARE OF SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT A MISTAKE. THIS WAS A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT TO SCAM MONEY FROM ME.

Charge for 15.32 appeared on my phone bill. I have had my land line phone in for repair for over 2 months and have not used the line the charge appeared on for over 4 months. The claim is for Stored Valeu Marketing V/M nonthly fees. I assume this is voice mail which I do not have, have never had and don't want. I smell class action here.

ILD Teleservices illegally charged me for 15.32

Tom of Grand Terrace, CA July 25, 2008

Tom of Grand Terrace CA (07/25/08)
2 months ago, I had a charge from ILD for 14.95 which I immediately called and had refunded. Last month they tried billing me again for 1.95 which I had to call again and complain about. They told me it was authorized by a man named Esron M (who is not authorized to charge to my bill). They reversed the charge.

I told them I no longer authorized anyone to charge anything to my phone bill. When this month's bill came in, here is another charge of 14.95 charged by ILD for American Evoice LTD v-mail monthly fee. I will call again and get another refund. What can I do so that they no longer are able to charge my bill for stuff I do not order?

My time for getting these matters fixed. Why do I have to spend time and attention to correct stuff that another unauthorized person charges to my bill????
