Genesis Communications

Belia of Van Nuys, CA, writes:
I changed my telephone company from Pacific Bell to Genesis Communications, because Pacific Bell was charging me for a lot of services that I didn't ask for. When I changed the services to Genesis Communications, I specified that I wanted all the services cancelled -- that I just want local service and nothing else.

On 12/19/00 I received a bill charging me for $251.16 for a lot of services that I said to the representative that I didn't wanted. On 12/29/00 I spoke with a manager of Genesis Communications and she told me that I have to pay for all the services that apperently Pacific Bell did't cancel and Genesis did't cancel either. It is pretty frustrating that I have to pay for something that I asked to be cancelled the first day that I got the services with Genesis.
