Video Camera City

On September 13, 2004, I purchased a SD Dane-Elec brand 128 MB memory card from Video Camera City at 1271 B'way, Manhattan. When I walked in, I asked one of the salespersons for the memory card. He handed me a Dane-Elec brand 128 MB memory card and telling me the price is $228 USD. Since i'm not very familiar with the price of memory card, I rejected it. A minute later, he offered $65 USD for this memory card and tell me if I pay by cash they won't charge me sales tax. I ended up paying them with my MasterCard. So they said if I charge by credit card, they have to chrg me $69 plus tax. The total of this purchase is $76.03.

On the next day, when I went to other electronic stores for reference to check for pricing of the Dane-Elec SD 128 MB memory card, it's listed as $32.95USD, and 512 MB is $79.88USD. As I see on the receipt, Video Camera City hasn't stated any policy on the receipt that there's no refund nor exchange on it. I went back to the store the next day Sept. 14 to ask the salesperson for a refund due to I over paid for the product I purchased from them but they denied me any refund.

I' m really disappointed on their way of handling this. Since they haven't specified any policy on the receipt, they have no right to deny refund to their customers.
