Natalie of Fredericksburg VA (04/24/08)
I bought a Sony Bravia TV form Walmart on 09/24/07. I decided to register it today. If there was a form I do not have it. Registering by the Web address given in the manual does not work for me, & there is not phone # given ANYWHERE to talk to a person. Possibly Walmart registered it for me as I remember it took a long time to check out.

Poor customer service like this is very fruatrating, I will survive, BUT there are other brands to choose from the nest time I buy anything electronic.

Ken of East Greenville PA (04/06/08)
I am not sure why people are having such a difficult time registering. I just registered 3 Sony items using their website at this address: https://productregistration.sony.com/ Took me all of 3 minutes at the most as I had to look up my serial numbers. Hope this helps!!!

Stuart of Washington, Dc DC (12/03/07)
I attempted to register my SONY Cybershot Camera at the prescribed address: www.sony.com/productregistration with no luck! I attempted to speak with a SONY representative and that took forever. I still want to register my camera to ensure I recieve warrranty coverage.

Thomas of Corea, ME (04/06/07)
I purchased a Sony cd/dvd player and find it impossible to register it following Sony instructions.

I previously purchased a Sony VIAO Laptop computer and to obtain the advertised rebate became a nightmare.

They may produce good equipment but their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered.

Mary Anne of Lakewood, CA (09/04/06)
Went to register online as directed in new product information. Website www.sony.com/product registration does not work.

When you enter the code they request, it keeps telling you this is not a match.

Chris of Barnegat, NJ (07/24/06)
I can't register my product because there is no spot on the site to do it.

Jennifer of Omaha NE (05/15/06)
I see I am one of many who bought a new sony cybershot digital camera. I also have tried to register on-line as requested by the information that came with my camera. The web-site will not let you get into the registration area and I would like to know how I am suppossed to register within the 30 days.

No damage as of yet, but if I cannote register my purchase how can I expect to have any concerns resolved?

Tricia of Hollywood FL (05/15/06)
I purchased a Sony MiniDV camcorder (handycam) and the only wat to register the product ( with the promuse of 15% discounts on accessories and music downloads) is at the sony site www.sony.com/Productregistration but the site does not exist. I paid over $500.00 for this product and I can't register it that would insure my use of the warrenty.  As i see on your site there are about 25 complaints with the same problem that this website does not exist.

I am having problems with the product and cannot use it with my Mac computer the box said it was windows and mac compatible. When I opened the sealed box the only disc was for a windows set up. I went back to the retailer and they said I had to contact Sony if the CD was missing. By not having the disc / program for my computer it makes this purchase worthless to me.

Tom of Des Plaines IL (04/15/06)
Cannot get product registration web site online to register my new camera. What's going on and how do I get through to the company?

Clifford of Canton OH (04/07/06)
I purshed a soney video cassette recorder/dvd recorder #rdr-vx515 and went to register it on line at sony.com/productregistration and got youe web site in place ov sony.

Labama of Flint MI (04/03/06)
I tried to register my camera online and was not able to, because of a invalid e-mail address -- www.sony.com/Productregistration.

Joe of Tucson AZ (04/03/06)
When I bought the Sony Digital Camera DSC-H1 it says on a green enclosre to register by the net. When I tried to bring up the site the first time it couldn't be found. Then when I finally got it up the camera was not recogonize/found. I looked up on the product line and it is there. I am not happy at all about this. I hope this is not an indication of the service should I need it!

Andrew of Vinton VA (03/28/06)
I can't register my camera for product registration online. It gives a web address (www.sony.com/productregistration) but there is no such location.

Pam of Gentry AR (02/27/06)
I bought the Sony DSC-H1 camera. In the box it states to go online to register the digital camera. However, there is no where to register the camera.

It states on the green card to go to www.sony.com/productregistration. There is no number to call. I paid good money for the camera and I can not get it registered. I have a camera I paid over $400 for and cannot get it registered. I have a 16 character registration code if only I had somewhere to enter it.

Ellsworth of Concord MI (1/1/05):
I bought my wife a Sony Digital Camera for Christmas. Inside the box is a green postcard-size paper that says:

Register your new product online today! Registration has its benefits! Please take a few minutes to register your new product at WWW.SONY.COM/PRODUCTREGISTRATION Simply register within 30 days of purchase and you'll receive a 20% coupon good towards the purchase of eligible accessories at the online SonyStyle store (Internet Service Provider required). Shipping, handing and sales tax apply. Offer vaild in the continental U.S. only.

In a white box below the above is a code number and a bar code. D10A4R04N3E89U23 I am then directed to reference the above 16- Character Registration Code for online product registration. When I attempt to go to the indicated web site, I am connected to a number of their on-line stores instead.

I do not have the 20% coupon and I may not have warranty service available, should I need it.

Walter of Kailua HI (12/27/05):
I purchased a SONY Cyber-shot DSC-P100 camera on 30 November. To register within the 30 day time period on 27 December I attempted to register the product online as indicated on the green paper included with the camera which also gave a 16 Character Registeration Code. I went to www.sony.com/product registeration and a listing of SONY items appeared. The first item was sony.com/productregistration. I clicked that item and opened a blank screen. I clicked view as an HTML document and obtained a large web page that required scanning left and right to view the entire document. It included Registration but there was no provision for entering any registeration data. I then clicked on the item covering rebates for cameras and accessories and found this complaint form and I am complaining because I have not found a way to register on line.

I have not been able to register the camera within the 30 day limit to get the 20% discount for any accessory that I may purchase. This may not be relevent because I live in Hawaii and I notice this discount is limited to the continental U.S. only. However, I have not been able to register the camera on line and there is no phone number on any of the literature that came with the camera that covers product registeration. Also, there is no product registeration card included with the camera that could be mailed in.

Ray of Naples FL (12/26/04):
I am the new owner of a Sony digital camera DSC-W1. I was given this web site address to use to register my camera and get a 20% off buying coupon: www.sony.com/productregistration I can't find it anywhere and I would like to register as asked.
