Wireless Concepts

Thomas of Gresham OR wires (4/13/01):
After receiving 3 extra dish players (I had also ordered 3) I tried to return them but only got the runaround for 6 months. I still have the extra players and tried to give them back to Dish Network, but they won't take them. Well, they might take them but refuse to credit me. I can't get hold of anyone at Wireless concepts and Dish network won't talk to me about them.

Harold of Hollister CA (2/1/01):
I returned a satellite system mid-September, 2000 and sent a fax to the company on September 28, 2000 with my credit card bill statement requesting a refund. I spoke with Eric, who assured me the proper documentation had been submitted and would be processed within 2-4 weeks. By November 13, 2000, I was told, Eric no longer worked there and the documentation for my refund had NOT been processed.

I was then speaking with Donna, who requested I fax again (November 14,2000) the credit card information and she would process the paperwork for the refund, which would take 2-4 weeks. December 28, 2000, I spoke with Terry, because Donna no longer worked there. She told me my refund was pending and would take 30-45 days from 12/28/00.

I have made repeated calls to ensure the refund was processed, however, in January, 2001, I have been unable to contact the company or speak with a real person.

Sherry of Virginia Beach, VA, writes:
I returned a satellite system on October 5, 2000 and have not received my refund. I have verification that it was in fact returned and signed for via UPS. I called several times about the refund and was told by Ilene (CSR) that the refund was processed. However, it has not been credited to my credit card. I have tried calling back to speak with a manager and no one seems to be able to get me to a manager. The customer service reps have been rude to me and even hung up on me an a few occasions.

I wanted to speak to a manager to get this resolved but evidently the company doesn't seem to have managers. When I did get someone who was decent to me over the phone he promised to give a message to a manager for him to call me back I never received a call back. This company has extremely poor customer service and should not be operating in business in such a manner and I wanted it to be reported. I am still waiting for my refund of $228.00 and would like for action to be taken.

If Sherry doesn't get her money soon, she should go to Small Claims Court.
