Brandon of LIVINGSTON, TN April 24, 2009

Since October 2008 I could not get to send me a bill. I had to call after my service would be cut off. After 4 months of calling I starting asking to speak to a supervisor. After finally getting the taken care of then they would cut of service again due to the smart card being expired. I would call and they would not send out new cards. I have had to request them three time and still can not get them. This causes me alot of trouble having to call and have them to rebut the old card. I just want my TV to work without me having to call several times each month with a problem.

Steven of Duff, TN April 23, 2009

My mother who is on a fixed income switched to dish network. Their ads on tv state 14.99/mo. for 6 mos. and three mos. of showtime. When she recieved her first bill Dish Network had switched it to 3 mos. lower fee. I have tried to talk to them but they just keep giving me the run around. They also stated she would have to pay 250.00 if they disconnected it.

Mr. of Mangum, OK April 22, 2009

I had Dish Network for my home and they allways added extra fees and charges all the time to our acct. They never made the effort to correct their faults. Instead they cont. to take advantage of people like my self. They charge the customers a bill and report to the credit company on the balances owed. This a crime its self, to charge fasley charges to anyone. The systems would automatic put movies or charges on the acct.

I am tired of this drama. I have spent years and months trying to put a stop these companies actions to the general public. I have a credit report they sent to transunion etc. for a balance and to cont. until 2011 I need them to remove negative items that have a negative effect that are not accurate or incorrect. I would like for a settlement for damages done to myself and family.

I do not have an account with Dish Network and they charged 170.00 to my bank debit card for someone elses account. I called to get them to refund me and they gave me some crap that they couldn't tell me who did it but someone called in and used my card. I asked them to call my bank and have them remove the authorization and they said they couldn't. They then told me to fax a copy of my bank statement in, so I did. Still am fighting with them. I had surgery scheduled for the following day which I could not get any of my medicine. I had to pawn half my stuff to be able to get my prescriptions. 170.00 turned into 500.00 with NSF and loan fees.

We filled out a form on the internet about a special promotion availble for new customers and was given a list of our savings and if we had any questions we could call and talk to Alena Flores Satellite Specialist. She quoted us 9.99 a month for the first six months and then the price would be 32.99 a month. then four days later we received a bill 97.11 for the next two months. when we called the company my husband was told that there was no way that it would be this price.

I have several e-mail advertisements and talked to several representatvies and was tolded that was correct up til the day before it was installed and now they say everything we were told was basically a lie, so he cancelled and we have send all the equipment back. This has been a very time consuming and upsetting experience. Just very unhappy with the way they handled this situation.

We cancelled our cable network and will probably have to pay to have reconnect and spend and entire day having the Dish installed.

My parents had dish netwrok for well over 4 years. In Dec. 2008, as things slowed down, they got behind on their bill. I made a payment with my bank card. 3weeks later, Dish netwrok took an unauthorized deduction out of my account claiming that the credit card used was the original crad used to set the account up. However, the account the card was tied to had only been open for a year.

I have been getting the run around since then and in the meantime my checking account has been closed and a collection agency is after me for the money. Dish also accepted payment from me on Dec 5th yet becuase it did not cover the entire amount just the past due amount, terminated the service on Dec 7th. Dish has since tried to bill the account for service not provided from Dec 7th through Jan 22, 2009 to which i have refused to pay.

I was layed off and relying on a pittance from the state of VA for benefits. Since my checking account was overdrafted I was forced to delay receiving payments and ended up not having the money to continue my health insurance through the cobra program. I have diabetes and have been unable to get my meds since Dish did this illegal thing. I don't have money for an attorney and am basically stuck with 688 dollars in the money they took plus overdraft fees.

Saifuddin of Ellicott City, MD April 12, 2009

Saifuddin of Ellicott City MD (04/12/09)
I have been a customer of Dish Network since 2004. Last year novemeber I got a promotional offer to watch Cinemax Channels ( 5 channels) for one (1) CENT a month until January 2010 and also one international channel for free until August 2009. So I agreed to the offer. However, I found next month bill that I was billed for Cenemax and the other international channel.

I called the customer service and they realized the mistake and told me that next month bill it will be adjusted. In next month bill they again charged me to Cinemax and International channel. Same thing happened, the customer service realized the mistake and told next month bill it will be adjusted. Duering that month had some problem with remote and was not able to watch program at all. They told me there will be a credit for 10 days.

Above all these, they again charged me for Cinemax and international channel. This time decided to cancel the service from March 28, 2009. After the cancellation they sent me another bill 183.97 to be paid. I declined to pay this and decided to take legal action against this. If someone can help me with legal action I would appreciate this.

Due to this irresponsible billing I had spend lots of time calling the customer service, delaing with the rude customer service. This situation upset me and suffered mental pressure a lot. I want to take a legal action about this.
