We needed to get a loan that would cover doctor and credit card bills. I know Am One helps find banks. Trevor said we could get a refund of $199 back if unhappy. I asked Janelle and she said they do not give refunds. They acted like they do all the work. They do nothing but steal your $199. They would give me 3 banks at a time and 98% I already applied to. Our problem was a debt ratio problem not a credit score. We were mislead and lied too!

My husband and I were pursuing a loan to start a franchise business. I paid AmOne to assist us in the search. I understood that they would guide me in the process and I would make the final decision and work directly with the lender. The $399 I paid provided me with 3 consultations. On the first consultation with Mindy, she seemed enthusiastic and fairly confident that she'd be able to find us a loan for our situation. We were requested a $350k loan.
During our second consultation she provided me with 3-4 options. Two of the options were not SBA loans and would provide about $25k, $50k and then a potential of receiving another $100k via another known bank. Obviously, this wasn't even close to the amount I needed. She indicated that she didn't see that she would be able to provide any other suggestions. I asked her what now and she said well that's all of the suggestions she could come up with.
After a couple of days on the phone, I came up with some lender possibilities on my own and called her and asked how I could receive a refund in light of the fact that we didn't even have a 3rd consultation. She said I could call her and have the 3rd consultation at anytime but I didn't see a need if she had no other assistance to provide.
I did some simple leg work on the internet and found what she provided me along with quite a number of other lender options. I had 2 banks that were willing to loan me the amount I requested. Unfortunately, I would be able to get the loan within the 30 days that AmOne said I would have to do on my own in order to receive their refund.
I don't normally spend time complaining about companies but they didn't even give me 3 consultations. So they made $399 for 40 minutes of their time and the sent me an email with lenders names and numbers I could have gotten off of the SBA web site.
