Jeremiah of Grand Prairie, TX November 19, 2008

I bought a car from the at the end of August. When I bought the car the had to fix the right back fender. I took my car in for them to fix it and they gave me a loaner car. The loaner car did not have a dealer tag or a buyer tag on it. On 9/24/08, I was pulled over for speeding. The police officer also gave me a ticket for not having any registration. On 9/25/08, I took the ticket to the dealership ad told them the situation. They gave me a dealer tag and said that should take car of the ticket ad if I had anymore problems to contact them.

I had a court date at the Arlington Municipal Court to dispute the ticket on 10/23/08. The court decision was to reduced the ticket from $109 to $75. I contacted the dealership on multiply occasions and also contacted the corporate office. The decision from the dealership and corporate office was that they don't pay from speeding tickets. I am not asking them to pay for the speeding ticket but the no registration ticket because it was not my fault that they did not put a dealer tag on the car. I have documentation that I had a ticket in the loaner car.

Improper inspection/diagnosis of rear brakes: I took my Nissan Maxima in for a stardard brake job on all four wheels. I was happy with the service until 6-months later when I had to return for loud noises coming from the rear wheels. Nissan replaced all parts and rotors on the rear of the car again! 6-months later, I returned for the same reason. They refused to look at the car until Monday and wouldn't keep the car until then.

I took the car to a local mechanic who corrected the problem in 4-hours. I had a stuck master cylinder on the left rear caliber which wore the pads and rotor down in that short period of time and they place everything including the CALIBER. I was very upset with North Texas Nissan for not correcting the problem after two visits and turning me away upon my third attempt to correct the problem. I will never do business with them again!!!

Mark of New Boston, TX July 9, 2007

My son traded a Nissan truck for a new one before he joined the Marines. The Dealer added a gold service contract to his contract for $5132.00 and gap insurance for $739.99. We have contacted the dealer off an on for over two months to credit this amount to his loan so we can pay the loan off and refinance it. The manager told me today that is really not insurance but money from his old loan they added to his new loan and they can not credit his account and drop the add insurance. The contract my son signed stated it is insurance. By his contract this is insurance and it should be able to be dropped and credited to his account.

This seems like an illegal way to sale a car. Tom said they do it all the time how is this possible? But he said he does have insurance. Insurance is not free if the contract is right then they own a credit to his account.
