Dale of Melissa TX (3/21/01):
I made an appointment to get my front end alinged and my tires rotated on my 99 F-350 Dual rear wheel truck. When I made the appointment I asked for a quote on the alingment and the cost to rotate the tires. I told the them that since the truck is dual rear wheel that the tires would have to be broken down and re mounted he then gave me a qoute for the work.

When I came to pick up the truck I found that all they did was move the front rim to the rear and the rear to the front causeing the polised side to be on the inside. I brought this to there attention and was told that they never break tires down to rotate them and what they did was the corect way.

After getting the service manager involved I showed him that the side that was showing was not polished and the rims where on the wrong way. He then said he would fix the problem, but then I noticed that the back right corner of my truck had light damage to it. I pointed this out to the service manager and he asked if anything was noted on the walk around done by the service advisor. I informed them that no walk around was done when the truck was dropped off.

The dealership gave me a rental whi9le my truck is being fixed. My complaint is that in my opion the dealership was hoping I drove off the lot not seeing the damage and then I would have to try and prove that I didn't do the damage. I would just like other people to know about this incident so they look before they take their car there.
