Chrysler Jeep Torrance, CA |
||
I
leased a new Jeep. I found glass in the car and found out that the car
had been broken into on the
lot. I found out the windshield and drivers window had been broken.
Upon a closer inspection, the radio is damaged and needs
replacing, and there are scratches around the broken driver's side window. The window has needed
adjustments (would not go up correctly) and the radio is scheduled for
replacement. The
car had 116 miles on it when delivered. The dealer said it was a trade
from another dealership and had been driven between the two locations. I checked the manufacturer's sticker and the car was
originally shipped to South Bay Chrysler, not another dealer. I
am also having problems with a rough and noisy drive line which may or
may not be connected with
the vandalism. The car has been in the shop 3 days out of the first week
I have owned the car. I
have lost all faith in the dealer. I have a feeling that they are not
telling me everything and
that the car may have been stolen and taken for
a joyride before being sold to me.
I am losing time from work, and the use of the vehicle while
getting it repaired. The minor scratches
around the door have been repaired with touch up paint, but not
to like new condition. I
am being told to wait on the drive line problems until the car has
around 2500 miles on it and
then I am going to have to leave it in the shop again for repairs.
All this is impacting me both in time lost from work and
emotionally in that I feel
I got a damaged and "second" vehicle. |
