I recently leased a 2011 CRV from Paragon Honda Woodside, New York . I have leased 4 cars from this dealer, and never had a problem until now. I don't like the way the CRV drives and don't feel safe driving it. Now, I've tried several times to speak to the manager, Brian from Paragon. I left several messages with his secretary, and I have not received a call back. It's been more than a week now. I also called Honda Financial, and filed a complaint. They told me that they would send the complaint over to him, and he was supposed to contact me within 24 hours, and have not yet done so.

I purchased a brand new 2009 Honda Pilot, and truly believed it was the best car I ever owned until a couple weeks ago. On October 16, 2011, the Check Engine Oil Level light came on while I was driving on the road and it stalled on me. I had it towed to the dealerships service center (Paragon Honda in Woodside, New York), where I purchased my vehicle.
On October 19, 2011, Nick **, the Honda service center representative, finally diagnosed the problem and called me to inform me that the engine is dead and can't be fixed. They said that I would require a new engine or try to repair this engine (yes, a three year old Honda with 40,000 miles on it needs a new engine!). I couldn't believe this would happen to a Honda vehicle! That wasn't even the worse news, Nick told me it is not covered under my extended warranty!

I went to Paragon Honda in Woodside to purchase a new Honda Civic on July 4th 2011. I knew about the 0.9% financing deal that was being offered from the website.
I went to the dealer and explained that I wanted a Honda Civic EX with navigation. They indicated that they would have to look in their Brooklyn warehouse. They spent over two hours trying to locate the car before they walked me over to the new car dealership.
Once I was at the new car dealership, they indicated that they did not have the car I wanted on the lot, but would have it on Friday, July 8th. The car would be a Civic EX with navigation in silver.
We went back over to fill out the paperwork. They wanted me to pay @26,000 for a car that was worth $22,700. When I raised this I was told we would discuss the price later. They indicated that they needed a deposit and when I told them I would write a check, I was told that I had to give them a certified check or a credit card for at least $1,000 to hold the car.
I gave them the credit card to hold the car and then went to see the Finance manager. I was putting $15,000 down on the car and only wanted to finance $10,000. The Finance manager indicated that because the car was in route, they did not have a VIN number and therefore could not give me any financing. When I inquired about the 0.9% financing offer, he told me that the deal was only available on the Honda Accords. This was an outright lie.
I left on the spot and called and told them to cancel the order.
This dealer did not have a car to sell me and they were trying to bait and switch. They tried to defraud me by indicating the 0.9% financing was unavailable when it was a national promotion.

On Tuesday, March 15th, 2011, I purchased a Black Used 2008 Honda Accord, serial number **. The sale price was $22,750.00, annual percentage: 19.54%, finance charge: $12,124.52, amount financed: $21,111.88, total of payments: $33,236.40. Total sale price, the total cost of my purchase on credit, including my down payment of $8,500.00 is $41,736.40.
I was informed that American Honda Finance Corporation is the company who provided the credit on my behalf. Now on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011, I received a called stating that I needed to sign some other document. Upon my arrival there, I was asked by Eddie if there's anyone who can co-sign for me. I told him no. Eddie proceeded to say that there is a problem and that I have to bring the car back to them because they don't have a creditor for me. I said to Eddie "Didn't I ask you who the lender was and your response was American Honda Finance Corporation?" So I don't see what the problem is. I am requesting help from the Department of Consumer Affairs to please assist me in any way that you are able to. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

I received an email through my Honda "financial" page offering me a way to save money by bringing back my 2009 Honda Accord Exl and trade it in for a new 2010 model. I inquired via email about the offer and was contacted by a customer service representative the next day that made an appointment for me to see a salesman for 10:15am on Saturday April 17th.
I showed up on time and I was seated with a sales person named Yvonne. I explained to her about the promotional offer and inquired about the 2010 Odyssey instead of a newer Accord. She went over some pricing options and after some discussion she quoted me with a monthly lease rate of $380.00 a month for an LX model. I currently pay $440.00 a month for my Accord and I thought that if she could save me $60 a month than it would be worth it.
She had me fill out all the paperwork and then she proceeded to do a vehicle inspection of my Accord. She came back and told me that my car was "in mint condition" and now all she has to do was find me the model I wanted in her Brooklyn warehouse and we can finalize the deal.
At this point she told me that it would take a little while because she had to get her manager involved to check the inventory, so I told her that I would go back to work and for her to call me as soon as she could to tell me what was available. She agreed. This was at 11:15a.m. Several hours later I still had not received a call from her and after several attempts to get her on the phone I decided to leave work again and go back to the dealership to see what was going on..
I immediately approached the "team leader" that helped me with my sale the previous year and told him what was going on and he went over to Yvonne and brought her to me. She claims she was about to call me to tell me that they do not have any Honda Odyssey LX models available in Brooklyn and that I would have to order one. Now I would not have minded doing this if I would have been told this from the beginning of the sale. I know that is part of doing business so I just explained to her that I thought it was pretty unprofessional that she did not have call me immediately like she said she would instead of putting me off. She apologized but really did not offer any real assurance to me that I would be taking care of and so I told them both I would think about it. I was pretty upset and felt that I was mistreated.
On Monday April 20th a representative from Honda Customer service called me to ask me about my experience from Saturday. I explained to her my disappointment and she assured me that she would send my complaint over to the branch manager of Paragon. At 4pm that same day a sales person by the name of Angel called me asking me about what happened and I explained to him everything that went on I he too told me that he would find out what was going on, find me the vehicle I wanted and call me back immediately.
I did not receive a call that day or the next on Tuesday the 20th. I waited till around 3:30pm on Wednesday the 21st before I called him. He got on the phone and immediately I can hear from the sound of his voice that he was not happy to hear from me. He started to explain that he went over the numbers with his manager and he started making excuses why this deal could not be done. He told me that my car now has 6,000 dollars worth of negative equity. I asked him why this was not told to me on Saturday and all he could say that the salesman Yvonne was not qualified to do the inspection so according to the records it was never done. I realized where this was going and I told him that all of this would have been fine if I was told this at 11:00a.m on Saturday when I was with Yvonne.
Why was I made to believe that I had a deal in place? I decided to challenge him and asked him straight up "You guys do not want to do this deal because now you see that you can't make money off this? And he promptly agreed. I asked him if he thought this was the right way to do business and he did agree that I was misrepresented. He told me I should have been told everything up front and that Yvonne has only 6 months experience and did not follow proper procedure. He then went on to tell me that in spite of everything he will go back to his manager and see what can be done. He told me he would call me back before 5pm and I am still waiting for that call.
I'm usually not the type of person to take matters as far as i am willing to go with this particular case. I do feel it's necessary to log an official complaint in hopes that I may help in some way correct the practices that are going on at Paragon Honda. If it merits an investigation I am willing to cooperate in any way possible. I feel that I was lied too, misrepresented, and poorly serviced.

i did bought a car that under my perception i bought a new car untill i get my tittle from the department of motor vehicle for my suprise i was sold a use car.
i pay for a new car and according with my titlle i got a use car , I try several times to resolve this issue with Sasha General sales manager at paragon,
this wasnt disclose to me otherwise i wouldn't pay what i pay for the car i was under the assumption that i bought a new car.
I need to be contacted to resolve this issue my car is a second hand owner and is not worth what i owe i contact American Honda Finance and the said that needs to be resolve with the dealer, witch they haven't respond to my complaint..
please need to resolve this issue before time get this situation worse.

On January 24th, 2009 I traded in my 2006 Volvo S40 and leased a 2009 Acura TSX. On that date I was approved for a tier 1 credit score and thought the deal was finalized and processed. Unfortunately, the dealer still did not pay off the Volvo and I technically do not own the Acura because Honda Financing still has not funded the deal. They want to restructure the contract for a different price.
I was forced by Chase (funder of my Volvo auto loan) to make my monthly payment on the car on Feb 12th because I was told by them as long as the financing is in my name, it is my responsibility. Also, on January 24th we had transferred the plates from my Volvo to the Acura and I drove home with insurance on the Acura. I cancelled my Volvo insurance the upcoming Monday because I thought I no longer owned the car. Sadly to say the car I actually own is in the dealer's possession uninsured and I am receiving letters from the DMV about it. Most importantly my mother was in rear ended in an accident in the Acura recently and she was frightened when she was told by a police officer that the license plate on the Acura actually belongs to the Volvo still and she is driving the car illegally. To my knowledge, my license may even eventually get suspended because of the insurance problem.

I bought a 2004 Honda Odyssey 6 months ago from Paragon Honda. I went back to Paragon Honda on Jan. 15 to trade in the 2004 Honda odyssey and purchase a 2007 new Honda Odyssey. I filled put all the paper work and give them a $2000.00 down payment. I waited for several hours and finally was told that my loan was approved. I signed the contract and all necessary papers and drove off with my new 2007 Odyssey. I signed over the 2004 Odyssey and left it in the dealer.
The bank that I had the 2004 Honda odyssey called me about my monthly payment. I informed the bank that I no longer had the car and I used it as a trade in. The bank informed me that they had no record of that and that I needed to go to the dealer to get him to fax over the contract. I called the dealer and told him what the bank said. Mike (General Manager), told me that I needed to return because my papers where not correct.
I drove down to the location (40minutes away) and when I got there I was told that the bank did not approve my loan. I asked him why they waited 9 days until I was informed that the loan was not approved. Mike said that they have been working on it. He told me that I needed a cosigner or to change the car I was buying. He told me to go home to think about it and if I wanted he would give me my $2000.00 back and my 2004 Honda odyssey. I went back to the dealer today Sat Jan 26 and told him that I just wanted my car back and my $2000.00. He refused. He told me that I had to wait until Monday.
I told him that I did not want to wait cause in the meantime I did not want to put more miles on the new car and then have to pay them, if the bank did not approve it. I have a signed contact saying that I own the car and I am supposed to pay $800.00 a month. I really need help cause upon further review of my contract he has over charged me with registration fees and inspection. I feel I am being taking advantage of. I have tried to call the location and end up on hold or hung up on. I would like to keep the new car. I am willing to honor the contract I signed but I need him to payoff the 2004 Honda that he has that way I do not end up making 2 payments.
I will end up paying or losing close to $3300

I purchase a 2007 Honda Accord in October 2007. The dealer gave me a temp. registration that expired. I called them and they sent me another temp. registration, this registration will expire on 1/20/2008 and I have not gotten my registration yet.
I have no been able to park my car at my Job lot, without the registration. I have spent countless amount of time calling the dealer to resolve this matter.

brought a car on nov 2 2007 a 2004 honda pilot traden in my 2004 chrysler sebring and put down 800 dollars down now i get a phone call on nov 26 saying i need a co signer or they gona come and take my car away never told me this from the begining after they got my money and car now wana chage things its not right

We had called Paragon Honda on 5/16/07 asking about a Honda Civic 2002 with 46,000 miles on it for $5,995. We called them at 10 AM and Bianca claimed the car was there and on the lot. When we arrived at 11 AM they informed us the car was sold the previous night. They then offered us a Toyota for $7,999. We were not willing to spend more than $6,000 so we left. It seemed to me that this was a scam and the car never existed. They just used the great deal as a ploy to get you to their dealership so they can push more expensive cars on you.
I wasted gas by driving a total of 170 miles to see a car that was supposedly there but turned out to be sold the previous night. I also took a doy off of work to see this car.

1. we purchased Certified Preowned Honda Pilot in Dec/2005, at the time of signing contract the car was as they purchased from previous owner, and Paragon Honda promissed to do certification works which they told me cost about $2000 - $3000 worth compare to NON CERTIFIED VEHICLE. 2. They rushed delivery around X-mas time and found they did not do Certification works.
Followings are the evidences which they did not do Certification works at all. a. Brake Pad thickness is almost gone and not qualified as certified vehicle. b. Front Wiper blade was wrong size c. Right side external back mirror scrathes was not repaired d. Accelerator pedal was too stiff and not dirvable condition even short distance e. Car was delivered with Dead Brake lamp f. Both R/Left side front door interior switch trimmings were not replaced which had lots of scratches which dealer promissed to replace. g. Wheel balance was not done, and car runs unstable whenever reaches 65 - 70 miles per hour h. Rattling noise from both front and rear i. False alarm kicks frequently j. Delivered vehicle with Door Hinges are all rusted but not done anything. k. Hatch door is not closing often

I have been trying to make an appointment with Paragon or Hillside in Queens to bring my 2000 Passport. Finally, Paragon had an opening last Thursday at 9:30 am. I explained to them that I called Honda and told them that - my ABS light has been on since 52,000 miles and I hear a clanking sound in my exhaust pipe. I brought my truck to my mechanic first for him to look at it. He told me that the ABS should not fail at this low mileage and that sound can be the catalytical converter that should be under warranty. Honda told me that the ABS and the converter should be fixed without charge to me if these are the problems.
I brought my truck to Paragon last Thursday but they did not look at my truck until Friday as their diagnostic machine failed. I called this afternoon, around 4 pm (Jan 6th) because I have not heard from them. Chris said the machine just came on. He called me back around 6:45 pm and told me the following diagnosis: 1) ABS modulator is not responding and should be replaced which will cost $225 2) Wide pipe on the exhaust has to be replaced which is the clanking sound at $280 plus their labor at $105/hour will cost me more or less $1500+. The only reason I brought it to them is because Honda told me that I should not pay for the ABS failure at 50,000 miles. There were a lot of other electrical problems that I had to deal with this truck with 30,000 miles which was fixed by Brahman Honda in Miami while I was there from 2001-2002. I should not pay for the faulty ABS modulator.
I am afraid to drive the truck now that winter is here. I am afraid that I will have an accident on the road with the faulty ABS and die because this was not taken care of.

I wanted to buy a new car. I was speaking with Clara and then the sales manager, Justin, approached me about a personal matter. Im a personal trainer and i train Justin. However about a month and a half ago, my Accord was stolen and i depended on my car to train Justin.so for the time being i couldnt train Justin. I explained to him the situation but he didnt care. I offered to refund his money through monthly payments, but he didnt agree.
So when I went into the dealership the afternoon on Dec. 22 at 2:00 P.M. He was completely irrational. He was a mad man. He called me names in front of employees and customers. He then threatened to bust my head in and kill me. He then threatened to come to my house and harm me. After words were exchanged, he then ran after me moving tables and chairs while 10 salespeople were trying to restrain him and calm him down.
Justin is one of the sales managers at Paragon Honda, new cars. He did not allow me to buy a new car. He was the epitome of unprofessionalism. I was completely shocked and lost respect for Paragon Honda and who the employees they hire. I was then asked to walk out of the dealership. After that i decided to walk back in with one of my buddies and was confronted by the other sales managers. One of their names was Rey.I was also approacged by one of employees, salesman, Melvin. They also told me to leave the premises and that I cant buy a car from Paragon Honda.
They didnt see nothing wrong with threats and actions as a manager at Paragon. I think the customer should always be allowed to do business with Honda. Mr.H should have never mixed his personal life with his profesional business life. This is very unprofessional. To top that off, I filed a police report and pressed charges against Mr.H because he then gave me a phone call right afet that threatening me once again in front of my friend who is a witness to all this.

I purchased a Vehicle Service Contract for $2,500 for 3 years or 36,000. At the time of purchase the car had 62, 000 miles, but when I received my contract it read contract effective date 11/09/04-11/08/05 expiration mileage 72,300. I contacted Paragon Honda and I asked for Mike Business Manager and I was told He is not longer working here I asked for another business manager and he never came to the phone either as per the receptionist he was at the Big Lot I asked to get a call back I never received a call back.
I drove to Paragon H on May 15,2005 at 3:30 p.m. and spoke to Jack and He said that the file was not on site that he call me the next day may 16, 2005 he still has not call. In the interm I called Tom Service Manager and again I was told that he was busy he is in the Big Lot Mr. A did not return my call. Before I sent this e-mail I called Mr. L again he is giving me the run around call me back an hour I am very busy I run this place I deal with a lot of people. I decided not to call him back because they always ask me can you call me back and I can never solve my problem.

On 7/22/02, I took my 1991 Honda Civic LX to Paragon Honda for the repair of two electrical problems which my regular mechanic could not fix. First was the motorized automatic seat belts which were both stuck in the open Position with the indicator lamp flashing. Second, was the engine temperature gauge on the dashboard which was not working for about one month prior to the first problem. The seat belts were under lifetime factory warranty. When I arrived at the service dept. I was told I would be charged an $82 Diagnostic fee whether or not I decided to have the car fixed, which I agreed to pay.

We purchased an automobile sales price was 11,500.00. we gave a down payment of $3,000.00 .we got home and we at down to check our financing, we noticed is was done for 12,900.00 with the 3,000.00 down payment.Th next day we returned to the dealer with our concern the manager looked over our paper work and admitted there was a mistake the financing. They had to do over all the paper work but i still have in my power the original financing paper work as proof. the rest of the paper work had the correct amount of 1,500.00. So they indeed try to screw us.

I went to buy a car from this dealer and I had to put $400 befoer they would even look for a loan for me. My father was co-signing and when they found a bank, the interest rate was too high. They said they could lower the rate if I went into something called loan protection program which would in the end, add up to another $3,000 added into the loan. I declined this loan but the dealer wants to keep my $400 which I feel is unfair as I don't even have a car! When I spoke with Mike and told him I wanted my money back or I would be reporting him here he said Now you're definatly not getting yuor money back!

I was sold an extended warranty twice.i paid out of my pocket first and then the bank for the same warranty with the money i borrowed from the bank. i feel that i am being robbed.i believe the bank is working with dealer.

I purchased a car from this dealer in 03/18/00. the car has been trouble ever since, I have been in their service department over 10 times and the problem is not resolved. Thier service department said it was a manufacturing problem and I need to take it to a Nissan dealer. I took it to a Nissan Dealer in White Plain, New York and now the Dealer is saying I have to pay for my car to get it out. I am suppose to have warranty, this car is worst than a used car. I do not have the money to take it out of the Nissan dealer, so my car is stuck there.
The car has me stress, I can not go out, because when I do I am afraid I will get stuck. I have been stuck about four times and this a car that I owe over $12,000. It is not fair that I will pay all this money and the car is not worth it.
