Purchased a demo VW Passat waggon on 5/29/00. It took the dealership 2 months to pay off my trade-in. The trade-in was paid off only when the leanholder of the car threatened to repo the car off their lot.

Had racing stripe put on the car at Koons service ctr which has already started to peal off. Demo had a cracked winshield which they agreed to replace. I have an IOU stating that they will replace the windshield but they refuse.

I've made a number of phone calls to John Koons who to date has not returned my phone calls. I've also contacted VW of America. I'm awaiting a response from VW. I've met several people who have purchased cars from the Koons Marlow Heights dealerships with similar horror stories.

The car cost 29,000 +. And they refuse to replace something that they agreed to replace when the car was purchased. Not a very good business practice.
