I went to this place for an oil change and ended up with no car. My car drove in just fine... But when I went to turn it on to leave it made this weird noise for several seconds. I took it straight to getting it checked and there was too much oil and still appeared partly dirty. The oil was drained and the noise had stopped but took it back to Jiffy Lube anyway and told them. A couple days later the noise started again and we contacted them again. Now they're saying they won't fix it because its a sensor or because they don't know what I did when I left, and it must be my fault. No. My car was fine when I pulled in and not when I left. The workers heard it. But now you won't fix it. This is bull! No integrity whatsoever! Don't go there. I wish I could go back in time and not get that oil change.

** and crew at Taylorsville JL, on 4100 S and 2700 W were wonderful! Huge shout out to all of them. They were kind, honest, up front and diligent - they applied every discount they could find and they did a fabulous job getting my A/C running, after a year of nothing but hot air blowing out. Vacumming was complimentary, and they couldn't have been more welcoming and even inviting. Will keep returning as these guys are the BEST! Thanks again, **!

The employee Fatima was very hostile and rude to myself and her co-workers. Instead of her asking me to open my door to check me in she almost snatched the door open. The experience today was very horrible, but any other time that I’ve been to the Jiffy lube on Pendleton Pike I have never had an issue.

Service is going downhill. Misdiagnosed the car leak, but was lucky enough to have another mechanic verify the leak was diagnosed from the wrong area. This could have cost me a great deal of money if I went through with the original diagnosis. Also, our other vehicle went in a week early for a car inspection and the shop put on the current month instead of keeping the original month. PA state allows you to get your vehicle inspected up to 90 days early and keep your current inspection month. This place used to be reliable and quick but I no longer trust the service and what I am being told at the counter to be true.

I was quoted $118 for an oil change and tire rotation and then I get there and that quote was just for the oil change. And there needs to be an engine flush. It was a high pressure sales pitch and unfortunately, my pain was tired so I paid $223. And they only took 15 minutes to do all three? I don't think so. Their website won't give quotes either. I wonder why?

On 4-21-2026, I went to the Jiffy Lube store # 2957 on US HWY 64 in Bartlett, TN. I have been a customer for over 10 years and ** who worked there was amazing and I always returned. The last 2 times I came she was not there and the service checks were below par. This time the changing the of oil was quick and efficient. However, the service check list was horrible. Do not say you are going to do something and then not do it. I had to ask them to check the tire pressure, and they only did 2 tires. The invoice says that the check lights were OK. They did not even check these because my next stop was to AutoZone to buy and headlight bulb, so I know this was not checked. I asked them to check the air filter and they said it was fine, but I was sitting right there and I know they did not check it.
When I got to Auto Zone, I checked it myself and it was beyond dirty and I purchased one and replaced it. My invoice shows Test battery - complete. When I checked my battery, I noticed corrosion covering both battery connections. When I asked that he change the electronic "maintenance due" in my car, it took him 10 min.- longer than it took to change oil. First he tried to figure it out. Then he went to Google and tried 2 websites before finding how to do this. The guy that cleaned the only window - the windshield (outside), I think only used water, and it smeared and was worse than when I came in. Finally, I asked if he was going to put the next service check sticker in my windshield and he said no, because the machine was broken. Sorry Jiffy Lube I will be taking my business elsewhere. You make it too hard to be a customer.

Please do your research before taking your car to Jiffy Lube! On December 22, 2025, I took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change. Approximately one week later, my oil light came on—something that had never occurred prior to this service. My husband returned the vehicle to the same location, where we were told the oil had already been changed, but they would “top it off.” This raised concerns, especially since my original visit took an unusually long time (approximately one hour), which now seems questionable.
On March 30, 2026, while driving, my vehicle began knocking, jerking, and eventually emitted white smoke with a burning smell. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic, where we were informed that there were serious issues consistent with improper or insufficient oil service and the gasket was blown. When we contacted Jiffy Lube, Manager Clerance declined to assist, stating it had been over 90 days since service. However, the sequence of events strongly suggests negligence or improper service at the time of the oil change. I am submitting this complaint not only in hopes of families to be aware of a potentially serious issue that could lead to significant vehicle damage and financial hardship. PLEASE review all the complaints within the last year!

On 3/31/26, I went to Jiffy Lube at 6116 Baltimore National Pike to get a full-synthetic oil change that I already purchased on Groupon. When I arrived, a gentlemen came up to my truck in the parking lot by the name of **. I told him that I purchased a Groupon for the oil change and pulled it up on my phone. He said, "ok" and continued to provide service by driving my vehicle into the car port for the oil change. Everything was fine up until I went inside to pay for the oil change because the lady behind the counter told me that they do not accept Groupon. I informed her that I told the gentleman about my purchase and he said, "ok", so she went into the car area to speak with him about it. She came back with ** (the only reason I know his name is because I called a few days later and asked for his and the manager's name).
When they came back, he denied that I ever told him about the Groupon. Immediately, I replied that I did tell him. This went back and forth. Now, mind you, my father just passed over the weekend and I had to leave the state to see family with little funds, which is why I purchased the service through groupon. I said to **, "Do not tell me I did not tell about the Groupon because that is a lie..Just say you did not hear me or you weren't listening but don't try to make me look like I'm lying". I was totally offended, caught off-guard and did not expect this from him. I asked for the manager and I explained everything. Instead of him honoring the amount I paid through Groupon, he said I can get refund from them. I told him that I cannot afford to pay for another oil change because I need the money for gas to drive to Atlanta, GA (now mind you, gas prices are high due to the war in Iran).
You think any one of the associates showed ANY type of empathy or care? NOPE. I asked to speak to the managers' manager and he was a phone a call away but he was not much help either. They looked at the video to see if I was telling the truth about showing ** my phone about Groupon. There is no sound and you could hardly what I was doing while sitting in the truck. But oddly enough, they settled on believing ** and not me. I was not only offended during this traumatic time, but disgusted with how I was treated. The manager did not care about me being called a liar, did not care that I am in an emergency situation and I cannot afford to wait for a refund to put gas in my car to drive south. He only cared about winning an argument that we were in because I had enough by that time.
I called Jiffy Lube corporate, made a complaint on this franchise. NEVER HAVE I EVER experienced such insensitive and clickish people. It's like because they work with ** and I am the stranger, they believe him and not me. However, I know who the real liar is--**! The worse thing that someone could do is call me a liar and a thief. I would have continued to be a customer but never again due to the unprofessionalism that was display to me that day and I will NEVER forget it because it was around the time my father passed. They added more stress on me that day. NEVER GO TO 6116 Baltimore National Pike.

I went in for an oil change, and they were kind enough to replace my brakes and rotors. They had a hard time getting my rotors off and come to find out a week later. They never put them back on correctly. I want to get my tires rotated. I had four studs, snap off my tires, because the way they put my tires back on my car after changing my brakes, they overtightened them and torqued more on top of it. My first mistake was going in for an oil change. And there was a kid there waiting for his car to get done. And they flooded his engine with oil, and it's an option oil change shop. I should have turned around and left. Let them do your oil changes. But don't let them touch any other part of your car unless you plan on having major problems with it.

I will start off by stating that my views are mine only, related to my experience and assumptions. This review is specifically aimed at the Jiffy Lube location in Brownsburg, IN. Not any other location. I commend Jiffy Lube on their ability to get an oil change done as fast as a fast food joint. That's it. Going back to my experience, I drove a Toyota for about 2 years and serviced the vehicle at Jiffy Lube. All seemed good up till beginning of 2025 last year. Seems like the location hired a bunch of **. Anyways, this one time I go into the shop to get an oil change done. Of course one of the attendants tries to use his sales tactics to make me get other services but I declined all and focused on only getting the oil change done. Seemed that may have rubbed him off a wrong way (again, at this point I was assuming but decided to let the thought go).
Fast forward to the latter quarter of the year when I go back in to get another oil change done. I see the same guy and he seems to eyeball me, but I don't make much of it. I tell the senior guy onboard I was there for an oil change. Later he comes back and tries to sell me a filter which I decline. He goes back, and the other guy says something to him and looks my way. I still ignore.
Later on, the senior guy cokes back to me and tells me he'll discount the filter. I wanted to decline, but went ahead and got the filter. Where things began to look weird is that when they completed the oil change, no one told me anything. My car was parked in the driveway, driver door left open and not a single word communicated to me that the changed was completed. It wasn't until I began to wonder what was taking so long that I realized that my car was outside. I chose not to say anything and drove away.
About a month later, I realized that I had to constantly top off my coolant fluid. I still didn't think too much of it. Unfortunately, in the month of December the weather got so badly cold. I drove to work one day and the temperature of the car was at high...Even though I had just filled up the coolant like a week ago. I stooped at a gas station to buy a gallon of fluid and emptied its contents into the car again. I headed to the mall to buy some Christmas gifts and while driving the temperature went skyrocketing again.
Long story short, the engine failed. I had to tow the vehicle to a close by workshop. The technician told me the engine was beyond repairable and that it seems the clamp that held the radiator hose was missing and is what caused the coolant fluid to leak. He said there's no way the clamp will come off except if someone intentionally removed it because the clamp is held in place tightly. Hence my conclusion that the Jiffy Lube guys who were the last to work on the car definitely had it in for me and played me. Maybe their intention was that I would come back to fix the issue before it became worse and then they could charge me an exorbitant price. They are the worst.... But never again will I ever visit a Jiffy Lube location.!

Some slick guy then approached me talking about air filters and my wipers .. All of which were managed in 09/25. He seems to think talking loud made a difference? It was such a nontranspicuous event. I said no to services and still had a bill of 190.00 for an oil change. Never going back there Jiffy Lube translates to jiffy hustle you out of your money! I went to the station on Sepúlveda and Victory asked if I could get some air for my tire. The manager was not too friendly and said I had to wait until they finished doing all the cars ahead of me. I was on my way to work and I was worried about my tire. Even though is not a tire shop I thought they might be able to help so I decided to ask another worker Hovo.
He was very understanding, helpful and went out of his way. It literally took him less than 3 minutes to put some air to my mini van. I felt safe and very grateful. I thought if he’s going out of his way to help a random customer how much more he will do when I have to take my car for service? Good workers make a difference where you want to take your car to be taken care of. He really made my day even though it was just some air to my tire. I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube on 12/29/2025. The person filling my transmission fluid overfilled my transmission by two quarts of fluid causing my transmission to burn up on 01/04/2026. I went to the store that did the job with pictures and showed them how much they overfilled my transmission. They sent a mechanic to my house which verified the issue was true. The regional manager said that the VP of the company didn’t feel they were responsible for repairing my transmission, even though their mechanic verified the wrong doing. I am very disappointed in how this company handles their employees mistakes and the customer is left paying for a damaged vehicle.

On November 18th, I brought my 2012 Dodge Ram to Jiffy Lube Store #2093, (32nd street and Thunderbird) for an oil change. Immediately upon leaving, the check engine light illuminated. I returned immediately and spoke with a staff member named John who denied responsibility and even LIED and said my check eng light was on. Manager Edward confirmed, via diagnostic scanner, a Cylinder 3 Misfire. (Offered to repaid for 1000.00, I took the vehicle to my personal mechanic, Lovari Automotive LLC. Initial diagnostics (spark plugs/points replacement) cost $700.00, but did not solve the core problem. Further inspection confirmed that Jiffy lube used 0w20 vs 5w30. several times and the prolonged use of incorrect oil viscosity may have caused catastrophic damage, specifically to the camshaft and connecting rods.
Crucial Evidence and Admission of Fault: Wrong Oil Usage Confirmed: Upon returning to Jiffy Lube, they admitted fault by immediately draining the oil and replacing the incorrect 0W-20 viscosity they used with the correct 5W-20. Pattern of Negligence: I possess seven previous Jiffy Lube invoices (over the last 2.5–3 years) which confirm a pattern of repeated negligence, showing that Jiffy Lube repeatedly alternated between the correct 5W-20 oil and the dangerously incorrect 0W-20 oil. Admission of Seriousness: Upon being informed of the damage, the Jiffy Lube manager advised me: “don’t drive that truck whatever you do just don’t drive it,” confirming their understanding of the severity of the damage caused by their service error.
Russ the regional service manage refused to take responsibility and claims that using 0w20 is the same as 5w20 and that that would never cause the damage, according to many online sources using the 0w20 can cause this damage in long term use, when I asked Russ why his tech told me to not drive and cause further damage, he had no answers, Please read all reviews before choosing jiffy lube, this is a ongoing problem, do not use their service - they will not take responsibility of damaging your motor. I was the only car there so I felt I would get good service. I had a $15 off coupon so I expected a fair price for (signature service). Jiffy Lube is a rip off. My wife went by to get a battery. As jiffy lube carries interstate batteries which i insist on she went there as we knew they carried them. 305 dollars for an interstate battery.. which was about 50% more than I thought it should cost. I called another interstate dealer about a block away that I was unaware of prior to looking on interstates website. Blacks Tire Service. They quoted me over the phone for the same battery 225 installed.
I called my wife hoping she hadn't had it installed yet but they had and they said they wouldn't take the battery back out. After I gripped about them ripping her off they said they would take 10% off but that was it, even after telling them that blacks a block away was selling same battery for 225. So it doesn't end there as I was very irked.. I called Interstate and they put me in contact with the distributor that sells interstate batteries to dealers in that area. Spoke with a very nice man and told him the story. The 225 that Blacks quoted me was the suggested retail price by the Interstate distributor. All he could say to me is that jiffy lube is very high on their pricing but that the distributor doesn't set the dealers pricing only gives a suggested retail. This is what you get if you deal with jiffy lube a mark up 50% higher than suggested retail and they don't feel bad about it at all. This is for the 10th Ave location in Myrtle Beach SC.

I am a 70 year old 100% (combat) permanently disabled veteran. Last week I took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube, Lomita, CA (Store#930) for a simple oil change. While waiting, I was informed that my brakes were "metal to metal" and needed urgent repair, then my power steering fluid was contaminated, then my transmission fluid needed replacement, then my radiator needed to be flushed. I OPTED FOR JUST THE OIL CHANGE ($99) with a coupon. The next day I noticed oil had been leaking and two large oil spots in my driveway. My vehicle has never leaked oil.
I took my vehicle to my very trustworthy mechanic. RESULTS: The oil pan plug was improperly installed post oil change. My brakes had only 40% wear and recommended to recheck 4-5 months. The power steering fluid was OK. My radiator and the fluid was fine. The receipt also states my "service engine soon" and "tire pressure lights" were on. THIS VEHICLE HAS NO SUCH LIGHTS! My interpretation: This business saw an elderly disabled veteran (I have Disabled Veteran license plates) and made an effort to convince me to have work (expensive work) done on my vehicle (FRAUD). I was assured when I asked about the price that I would get the regular discounts (1 being my loyalty discount which I believe was a $10.00) coupon and the other a senior discount since I am certainly a senior. When It came time to pay the bill the cashier/manager who I've seen for years said I was not in the system and perhaps the guy put my license number in wrong. WRONG! I even had 4 previous Jiffy Lube stickers that were still on my windshield to show the dates that I had been in.
So I went directly to Jiffy Lube to complain where I got the typical blow you off apology and was told that the senior discount (only the senior discount) would be refunded to my account. That was two weeks ago. The service is a joke. They suggest the most expensive service and screw you over anyway. I am so incredibly pissed that I continued to trust these people and for a measly $15.00 they would relinquish ever having to do business with me again. BUYER BEWARE. Get an exact price from these people before they even look under the hood. And if you can not do it yourself there are a lot of services in your neighborhood that do oil changes.

I have been using Jiffy Lube in Portland Oregon on Sandy for at least 10 years and have had excellent service. I switched over to the Vancouver WA store on 68th and they were just as good! People were warm and professional. Service was fast and they always take coupons for a reasonable price discount. I had options on oil filter brands and air filters were offered only as needed.

127.00 for a synthetic oil change. I (husband) was super busy, so had the wife take it there. Guy was super high pressure to upsale, and rude. Never send your wife to these crooks. And the drain is on way too tight.

I brought my car in for an oil change at this location and left with over $6,000 in cooling system damage. The manager initially admitted fault and told me they would cover repairs and rental costs. After towing my car to a dealership, they reversed that promise and denied responsibility. I’ve now had to file a small claims lawsuit to recover the cost of the damage, and I’ve been left without reliable transportation and paying out of pocket to rental car, and stuck with a huge bill for the damages they caused as a result. I tried to resolve this directly, but I’m disappointed in how this was handled. Be cautious, and get everything in writing if you choose to use this location. They have been not reliable or honest.
