M. of Sandy, OR April 22, 2009 Took my car in for an oil change. of course it needed "other things" - air filter & some valve. On my way home the car started making this terrible screeching noise. We thought it was the serpentine belt so we had that replaced. The noise continued, so in an effort to keep the noise down I was continually riding my brakes & keeping the RPM's up to 1500-2000. Finally after 2 weeks we took it to a dealer! WHOEVER had disconnected a hose for whatever reason FORGOT to reconnect it. This in itself may seem a little petty, MAYBE a simple mistake of forgetfulness bit this is the SECOND time in different vehicles in DIFFERENT states! JIFFY LUBE TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE! Yes, I would like the money back for a belt I didn't need & the cost of taking it to the shop, now I will also have to replace brake shoes as well. More & more people are telling others to stay away from Jiffy Lube...now I will be one of them! Brent of Montesano, WA April 15, 2009 Brent of Montesano WA (04/15/09) Brent of Montesano, WA April 13, 2009 Brent of Montesano WA (04/13/09) After speaking with his D. Manager, I was told that I would be given a ride home with my family. Because the car rental company they work with is closed on Saturdays. I kindly told the manager it was in his best interest to get me a rental vehicle from another place. His D. Manager said ok. The van is at a repair shop. I look forward to having my van fully repaired. That is what I expect. After all, it only took Jiffy Lube less than five minutes to destroy the engine.
