From day one the service Center has been a nightmare. They test drove it and smashed a tire & rim. I got them to fix the tire and rim but they would not align it and said only they could do so so I parked it. Now the car has 32000 miles and overheated and blew a head gasket and they gave me a 3000 est and then when I got the car to them they said it was now 6000.00 and it needed fans, power steering pumps and more for another 3000.00.

I tried to yank the car and get it brought somewhere else but they said once it was with them I could not move it so i am trapped. they said ONLY MINI OF HAWAII CAN FIX IT AND OTHER SERVIOCE CENTERS WON'T WORK ON IT ONCE MINI OF hAWAI HAS OPENDED IT UP. so you are screwed once you bring it to them. I contacted the company and no help from them either. $9000.00 to fix a car with 32000 miles on it + weeks of emotional stress

We placed a $500 deposit to order our car from Mini of Hawaii when we lived in HI, but picked it up in PA when we moved. Upon picking up the car, the dealerships had switched the paperwork so we had to pay another $500 to the PA dealer, with the understanding Mini of HI would refund our original deposit. Mini of HI did try to refund the deposit, however there was an error in processing it, and it never came through. After 6 months of constant long distance phone calls on my part and multiple e-mails, I still have not received the refund for $500. And to add insult to injury, they do not return my phone calls.
