A.R. of Ridge, NY, writes:

I purchased a 1995 Explorer, 2-door sport, 4-wheel-drive, on 10/09/98. .The man who handled my sale was very quick to get the sale for me.  I was under the impression that he was helping me.

On March 25,1999, I became aware of some faulty repair work that had been performed on the truck.  I went to another dealership where they informed me that it was very obvious that the vehicle had been in an accident that might have been very serious.

When I asked the salesman who sold me the truck, M.C., if he could perform a title search , he said that he would.  He later contacted me and said that the vehicle was never involved in an accident.

If I knew the truck was damaged previous to me, I would never have purchased it. I work extremely hard to pay for this, and now I don't feel safe driving it anymore.
