David of Poweder Springs GA (2/23/04):
The cable holding my tempory spare tire underneath the bed of my 2001 S10 pickup with 67000 miles broke at crimped end of the cable fitting (the spare has never been used), causing the tire to fall from under the truck and strick the vehicle behind me at 70 mph.

Damage Resulting: serious damage to the vehicle the tire struck, cost of the ticket for not maintaining my truck safely and an increase in insurance premium.
