LIZ of NAPLES, FL October 11, 2009 I apparently picked up some bad fuel in my car. I got in and my check engine light came on, and my car started to shake. I called the dealership and told them what was happening. They told me it was probably a sensor and to drive it in. I told them the car did not feel right and ask if they were sure I should drive it in rather then get it towed. She said she was and to come right in. I dropped my car off at 10:30am and had to call them at 4:30pm to find out what was going on. They told me what they thought the problem was and confirmed the problem the next day. I have to get my fuel injector replaced along with gas lines, etc. I dropped my car off Thursday and will not get it back until this Tuesday. I have a warranty on my car but was told that my warranty does not cover this type of problem. I was also told when I purchased the car and warranty in January that with my warranty Hyundai provides a rental for me EVEN if I am just getting an oil change. I requested a rental and was told that because this problem was not under warranty they could not offer me a car... Somewhere I think we are getting our lines crossed. I feel Hyundai does not honor there warranties and will find any and every excuse to make sure the customer gets stuck with the bill. Very unprofessional and dishonest! $1500.00 plus taxes in damage. No car for 6 days... how do they expect a person to get to work? Report Your Experience
