Napleton Nissan

Riviera Beach

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

Beware! Do not buy a vehicle from Napleton Nissan Kia located at 3870 Blue Heron Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida. My husband and I had the most horrendous experience at this dealership. We worked with a salesperson who was pretty nice. Everything went well. That was, until we had to deal with the financing department. We were greeted by a woman from the finance office who ushered us into her office. She began to explain to us the financing that she secured for the vehicle we were about to purchase. She commenced to rattle off numbers. At this point, I told her that I did not understand what the numbers were that she was referring to.

My husband then asked her if we could see a buyers order sheet which detailed all of the dealers fees and prices associated with the sale of the vehicle. She objected and refused to give us the information stating that, "This is not the way I do business." My husband then insisted on seeing the list of charges connected with the vehicle we were about to purchase. Again, she refused and got up and told us that she would get her finance manager to come in and talk to us.

After a few minutes, a Mr. *** (if this was his real name), the finance manager came in to speak with us. Whatever information he was given caused him agitation because he came into the office in a confrontational manner. I explained the situation to him at which time my husband asked again to see a buyers order. He then pulled out the order that my husband was asking for and proceeded to tell my husband that he was yelling.

At this point, my husband told him that as the customer he was not being unreasonable. The finance manager then told my husband not to let this tie and suit fool you. At this point, I was alarmed at the threat. He then got up and said, "I want this guy out of my dealership. This guy probably doesn't own anything and never will." My dealership. Give me a break. I was very upset at the lack of respect that we received as customers. We left and went to a Marone Nissan dealership where we were treated with the respect and dignity a customer deserves. Not only that, but we got an even better deal on the vehicle we wanted. Needless to say, we would never recommend this dealership. Rather, we will discourage people from going whenever we can.

I own a 2007 Quest with approx 16K Miles. The Michelin Run flat tires were worn almost bare. I brought the car into the dealer and was give and estimate of $3,675.oo for four new tires which had to include four new rims. The service rep told me he did not know much about run flat tires but the you must buy new rims in order to replace the tires.

I called Michelin and was told to take the car to a michelin dealer which turned out to be the Ed Morse Honda dealer across the street from Napleton. I was told there that michelin would credit me 60% of the cost of the tires and also that the honda dealer could remove the rims and place them on the new tires.

My complaint is that the Nissan rep could have referred me to Michelin and also that if I had not pursued the issue I would not have known that new rims were not necessary. I was also told that Naplelton did no own the Piece of equipment needed to replace the rims on to the new tires. I feel this wasa deception to make a lot of money on this sale. My final cost for the new tires at the Honda dealer was $1,102.00, this included alignment. I will not return to Napleton again.

I went to buy a car,and I found a Murano I was interested in, only problem was the seats were'nt leather. So they offered to give me leather seats at no cost. I made a $10,000 down payment, while I was try to get a lower fiancing rate from my bank. The dealership told me I had to get fiancing through them. So I decided that the rate was to high, so I asked for my deposit back.

They only wanted to give me $8,500 back and charge me $1500 for the leather seats. So I asked to see the seats for a car that I'm not even purchasing. They said they did'nt have them. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of, maybe cause my english is'nt the best. They want me to sign some sort of release. All I want is my money back and to be treated fairly, can you please give me some feedback or advice on how to deal with my situation.

Well I made the down payment in Feb and it's March the 19th and still have'nt gotten my deposit or any answers from the dealer.
