Max of Concord writes:I took my truck for an oil change and tune up, but they persuaded me to get a 60,000 mile service. This service was supposed to consist of: changing the oil, a tune-up, changing the coolant, and transmission fluid. Mr. R suggested that my brakes needed repair, which would cost me over $300.00. I picked up the car that afternoon and I realized that the gears of my manual transmission were not switching properly. When I inspected the motor at my home that afternoon, I realized that the cap for the winshield wiper fluid container was not affixed to the container. The next day I took my truck into another Toyota dealer because I did not feel confident with the service that I received at Concord Toyota. At the other dealer they discovered the following problems:
I paid $397.79 at Concord Toyota for service that I thought was unsatisfactory. I then had to take my truck in the next day and paid $73.40 for front brake pads only. (not the three hundred dollars suggested for brake pad replacement at Concord Toyota). |
