There is a guy at the O'Reilly store at 32nd and Indian School who is AMAZING. His name is Chris. He used one of those diagnosis devices to determine the reason my "check engine light" was on in my '05 Chevy Silverado....He quickly found the bad part (a canister purge value), retrieved it from inventory, then came out to where my truck was parked and carefully explained how to install it. (I was able to take a video of his explanation, which was helpful). What other auto parts store does this!??? (No this guy is not my brother-in-law...and I'm not related to him in any way) Just want to give him a shout out for being so generous with his time and patient with this "not in any way mechanical customer". I installed the part as he instructed and it instantly removed the check engine light. THANK YOU CHRIS AT O'REILLY

I stopped at store 1970 in Vinita, OK on Sunday morning May 31, 2026 because my vehicle had a warning light about needing more oil. I was in a hurry with a 5 hour total drive to contend with. Scott researched my oil, checked me out, popped my Audi hood, added the oil, and had me on my way in 5 minutes! I am grateful for his friendly, competent, and professional service to me. Thank you very much, and I am a customer for life.

I was on vacation visiting Yellowstone National Park. A Park ranger pulled me over for a burned-out taillight and gave me a warning. I stopped at O'Reilly in Driggs, Idaho, and was waited on by a gentleman named Barry. It was snowing on a Sunday at 3 pm. This employee was so helpful, he came outside in a snowstorm and helped us replace a bulb. He figured out it was a brake light bulb, not a tail light bulb that needed to be replaced. Please recognize this wonderful employee that went way beyond customer service. Thank you, Barry, you were a blessing when I needed one.

Wayne, of O’REILLY AUTO PARTS in The Colony, Texas took excellent care of me today and I appreciate it. My “Check Engine” light has been on. Wayne hooked up a device, wrote down the code, printed out a report for me, found the replacement part, sold the part to me, and then he installed the part and gave me the printed report. He is a very hard worker, and is very professional, friendly, and helpful.

I've been going to car parts stores my whole life, and I have never had such amazing customer service, as with Nigel **. He is the best. He is so helpful and knowledgeable. He is the absolute best! I went a couple of times to the Coors location and he Was a Godsend. I'd gone to several stores to find some car parts for a BMW and since they didn't have some in stock he was so kind and told me which store had them, he was also really kind to my kiddo and gave me awesome suggestions that would help with the upkeep of my car. Luckily they moved him to the bridge location and he is the best. I will make sure anyone I know goes there where they will always get the best customer service if he's around, he is definitely an asset to their company and hopefully they are aware of what an amazing employee they have!

Was unaware the part that was ordered, was not covered under the warranty that was on the receipt. We were made aware of this only after the part finally came in, a day later than it was supposed to. Why would any customer want to order a part from the same company that has failed us 3 times in less than 2 years? I asked for the manager, so I could further understand how the warranty works, and upon meeting her, was immediately disrespected. And also overheard her talk to other customers in a hateful and rude manner.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve received in a long time. Phone sales are a priority with this company, no matter how backed up they are they pick up the phone and leave you in limbo. I saw other employees in the store and when I asked (in English) why can’t they take care of some of the customers waiting his response was quote, “they don’t speak Spanish” unquote. Two of the three were clearly Spanish so I’m not sure what he was trying to say.
The manager verbally told me to go to hell when I asked for a refund of an item that had left the store. I’ve worked and owned retail establishments before, this is no way to treat your customer and obviously is a bad look for the other employees thinking they might be able to say the same in the future. After many years shopping at this store I WON’T BE BACK. I drove down the street to a competitor and purchased the item $50.00 cheaper. If corporate is interested in seeing my receipts I’ll gladly supply them.

I purchased a battery for my Toyota Prius and used it for one year. The battery subsequently failed, prompting me to visit the store, where it was replaced. After a few months, the replacement battery also failed. I returned to the store, where personnel performed a charging check and assured me it was sufficient. However, when attempting to start the vehicle, it failed to operate. I subsequently visited the store in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where an employee suggested that the battery readings might be false and indicated that the battery may not be capable of retaining a charge. He advised me to purchase a new battery.

I walked into O'Reilly. It wasn't busy. The guy ** at the counter did not greet me. I asked where were the stuff I needed? He said by the counter. His tone was demeaning!! I needed help. Thankfully another customer !! Hope me!! HE acted like it was a problem that I needed help finding the size. So Since he seen the customer helping me he told me he would put my battery in my kfob. While I was there I man came in. He gleefully greeted him!! But I was a "Problem"!! That's a prime example of Misogyny!! & Machoism!! I will never go there Ave 12 Madera location again!! Thanks O'Reilly!!

Katherine at Central Ave near Alvarado, was the most helpful, knowledgeable car I have come across in 20 yrs, she was so friendly w her purple hair and green shirt and of course her piercing green eyes, she helped from beginning to end, diagnostics, part replacement and overall car health. She is the best!

I visited my O'Reilly's on Snow Rd...where I had an outstanding experience with all the employees there, especially Aj and Sam. They went over and beyond the O'Reilly's job duties...I just want to say Aj and the rest of the employees are outstanding!! O'Reilly's on Snow Rd and Airport Blvd...The customer service there is 100 percent... thank you guys again!

My review is about the store in Hemphill, TX. I showed up just after closing time and The manager, Chris, not only allowed my to come in but changed my dead battery and check my trucks charging system. This was what customer service is all about. I am a customer for life now.

Battery installed here on 4/3/26 immediately caused my truck to fail—within 2 minutes it went into limp mode with 20+ electrical faults. Dealership has since confirmed improper battery voltage caused the damage. Despite multiple visits and clear documentation, store management has refused to take responsibility. I was forced to rent a vehicle and pay for repairs due to their negligence. This has now been escalated beyond the store level. If not resolved promptly, I will continue pursuing formal claims. Use caution—this situation was avoidable and handled very poorly.

Purchased a section of fuel line for my 2004 Dodge 1500 Ram. Within a few weeks it blew out and I lost a day’s pay and almost a full tank of gas, which with the current prices adds up to quite a bit lost. Had to go back and purchase the correct piece of fuel line with the correct pressure rating, which should have been checked by the employee the first time. No refund for the wrong item was offered. Also had O’Reilly parts (sway bar links) used in my 2018 Jeep Compass and they failed within a month. Dealer had to do the repair again and used genuine Chrysler parts and it has been fine.

616 West New Haven Ave. Melbourne FL. O'Reilly Auto Parts: the worst place to go for automotive needs. Insane store. Crazy manager Ms ** leaves store unattended while she goes out back behind building to smoke nasty cigarettes & drink alcohol 🍷 by dumpster area. Leaves you in store waiting for service. There is nobody working here. The store is empty. Checked both restrooms, employee breakroom, back office & commercial area. All unattended. I just gave up waiting. I was all alone while phone continued to ring unanswered. Manager just ignored me & the store. I put my items back & left the store.. Called cooperate to let them know... I'm done with O'Reilly's. I paid off my account. & I will never go there again..

O'REILLY AUTO PARTS 616 West New Haven Blvd Melbourne FL store #5205. Terrible service, poor staff. No management! WORST POSSIBLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER! This store is a mess. Hazardous conditions as you attempt to shop. Unmarked "wet floors" from split oil bottles in asides. WET FLOOR LEFT UNATTENDED BY STAFF! I slipped & twisted my ankle. No one there to ask for help. Not one employee could be found. I went out back. Phones rang unanswered constantly. Both restrooms & employee breakroom empty also. Even commercial service desk area out back was empty. Finally found Ms ** (store manager) out behind building smoking cigarettes & chatting away on her personal cell phone. Totally ignoring the store. I just wrote down corporate phone numbers from poster on front of building & left a few messages until I go to hospital for my injury on wet floor & speak with an attorney.

I’ve been buying parts from O'Reilly's auto parts for about three years now and for the most part I’ve been happy. Recently I ordered a set of heads like a week in advance. They said they would arrive 24 to 48 hours so I went by to see if they had arrived and the sales guy said they were lost and they couldn’t find them so they ordered another set. I ended up losing the job and was out about 600 bucks plus about 8 hours of labor. I called customer support and they told me they would give me 50 bucks off each head. I didn’t realize at the time I had lost the job due to me not being able to keep my word to the customer and having their car done when I said and probably won’t ever use me again. That really upset me with O'Reilly's and I haven’t decided if I’ll continue to use them.
One good thing is the manager Oliver was very helpful and tried his best to make me happy and keep me as a customer because he knows I spend a lot of money with the store. I believe if there were more employees like him they would gain customers and not lose them. I’ve ran a few different companies and have learned that if you tell someone something and it doesn’t happen and then hurts their business and reputation you should do more than offer them 50 dollars off on some parts. I guess because they are such a big store a smaller guy who buys parts a few times a week they don’t care about losing. But apparently they don’t understand that if they keep their word and do everything they can to keep me as a customer I’d never buy from another store. I haven’t completely decided what I’m going to do yet. I’m waiting to see if they will actually reach out to me and make things right.

Restoring a 1999 Cadillac Eldorado started with the power steering pump and all the hoses 300 and something dollars worth. Then I called in about a harmonic balance supposed to be in in two or three days. I called he said he had nothing. You didn't have my phone number. Been with O'Reilly's down for 7-8 years and they didn't have my number in the system. So I had to drive over there 45 miles to ask them if they had the part or not. He's looking at the computer he said nothing pulls up. I said, "Well why don't you get your butt up and go look in the pile of stuff that's been delivered to you." So after about 20 minutes he comes back out. He's got the part I said and I, "Wasn't that a novel idea to get your butt up and go look at your shipments that you have received to see if you got the part."
So having done that I'm figuring at $200 an hour for the rack time how can I schedule rack time and count on O'Reilly's to have my parts when I need them. So I returned all the parts and walked out with a refund receipt. Will never go to O'Reilly's in Bullard again and I have already had the car estimated at $6,000 worth a parts considering that the air ride suspension is out. I'm a replace all that with conventional suspension All hoses all belts all sensors and a new interior but it won't be O'Reilly's in Bullard.

Jordan and other staff at the auto parts today; installed my battery. The battery was not good and warranty was still active. The weather was super cold; we were having Squalls in Wyoming. I went outside a couple times and Jordan kept installing until his hands were red from cold. I realized they cannot take tips so I wanted to be sure that I did this review. I will continue to shop at O'Reilly's in Laramie, Wyoming. Thanks, Jordan!!

Feb 16, 2026. Last week I wanted new windshield wipers for my car but I also needed one for the back window so I went to the store. Front wipers were easy and Jason, the store manager looked up the one for the back window but there were not any in the system. So I did buy the ones for the front and said kiddingly I will look at Amazon. Jason tried everything to get me the wiper for the back window. So I did go on Amazon and found one for the car and ordered it. Today I went down and I saw Jason and said I got one through Amazon but I was not sure how to put it on and I was willing to pay for him to do it. But he did put it on and did not charge me. I was in retail for over thirty years and I know how important customer service is and the North Adams, Ma store goes above and beyond every time that I have gone in. THANK YOU JASON and your whole staff as well.

I recently had the 2 occasions to go into my local O'Reilly store. (Snohomish, WA) & it was a pleasure. Visit #1-I was looking for a machine check for what was wrong with my blinker lights. Teresa was my 1st contact - she very nicely, told me they do have that capability but sent me to Alexander who would still give me some help. Alexander was a jewel, he came out & looked at my car, told me how to have the easiest possible problems checked & then sold me the correct bulbs (if it turned out to be just that). ** It was not the bulbs, I returned those bulbs, chatted some more about my car problems with Alexander, he suggested someone to help & put the new wiper blades I had purchased, when I returned the bulbs. He was very kind, very helpful & knowledgeable & someone I hope can be recognized for his skills.

616 West New Haven O'Reilly Auto Parts store is not the place to go for your automotive needs They have a terrible store manager there. ** is her name. Very unprofessional negative attitude. Would much rather sit outside the backdoor of building by dumpster smoking cigarettes & chatting on her cellphone ignoring customers & the phone calls of customers trying hard to reach the store. Phone calls go unanswered as she hangs outside the building ignoring customers. Terrible nonprofessional behavior. Nasty appearance. Wrinkled dirty untucked t-shirt worn instead of a clean respectable uniform. Rude behavior towards patiently waiting customers with needs. This store is always slow. Now I understand why.

I took my car into O'Reilly Auto Parts on Arkansas 107 to get a battery replacement. A person who installed the battery and installed the incorrect battery which caused damaged in my vehicle. I had to have a new alternator replace a major a 40 amp fuse replaced and internal wiring replaced for a total of $475.00, which the manager at O’Reilly’s refused to pay for our. Contacted the district manager and never received a return call even after I file a complaint with the corporate office. I have a friend who knows the manager at the right location, and the manager told him that my problems were caused by improperly installed battery in my vehicle, which makes a really liable for the damages. They have yet to admit to causing any problems in my vehicle and this is not a place you should take your vehicle to regardless of what needs to be done.

I bought a set of wiper blades for my daughter's 2010 chevy Malibu online but in stock in store .I sent my daughter there to get the wiper blades, she ask a salesperson there if he could put them on, he reluctantly agreed to. Afterward I called my daughter and ask if she got the new Bosch wiper blades. She said yes but the passenger side of car blade was longer and beyond the windshield and ask her to return to store they were not the right size blabes. I call the store and talk to a guy name Steve and ask if he but the blades on he said he did not know, my daughter friend return the car to O'Reilly's Lapeer, MI. and ask a older salesperson to check the wiper blades, he did and said they were not the right blades and he put a new set on car that fit. My daughter friend overheard the young guy Steve told the older salesperson he put on the wrong wiper blades.

Albert was a great help, he saw I was going to change the battery in the parking lot, he put in the AGM platinum super start battery for me right outside the doors. He did it in under 5 minutes. Really great guy.

I called the O'Reilly in Wichita and the person had no idea what I was talking about!!! They hire people who has no clue about vehicles!!!! And they are overpriced. They will not honor the competition price. Over priced.

I should’ve known better as I am a local Scrapper. When I would periodically go into the Scrap Yard to deliver my metals I would see truckloads of brand new parts from O’Reilly's being dumped there. I have now put one in one together and come up with their parts are garbage. I have bought several parts from O’Reilly's and they have all failed - three relays, two pulleys turn, signal switch and several lightbulbs amongst other items I cannot remember right now. I do not recommend O’Reilly's to anyone.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Sergio at the Paramount, Ca store, yesterday 12/02/25. He immediately looked up the part I needed and found it in stock. Went out of his way to carry the very large right axle box to the front of the store… just to show it to me. Unfortunately I had to wait to get a refund from AutoZone who was not able to get my part which I had paid for. So when I went back to O'reilly’s I bought it and Sergio once again helped me. And he even carried it to my car. Sergio is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I am looking forward to doing all my auto parts and accessories shopping at this store, from here on out.

I give 2 stars because I'm assuming this was an honest error. Due to recommendation from an oil change place, I was advised to get my battery tested prior to a long road trip for the holidays. I got my battery tested & he said, "it looks great." Car started in the morning, me, my man & my cat headed on our 4 hr road trip. We made it without incident. Car did not start in the morning. Took it to an O'Reilly in Chippewa Falls, they said my battery was dead. I'm very unhappy because I took the measures to be safe prior to a long road trip, in bad weather & now feel I can't trust getting my car tested at O'Reilly.

Unless you are broke down on the side of a highway and need the part now. I would highly recommend not buying your parts from them. I needed a headlight bulb for my 2020 challenger. $139.00! Amazon $35.00! Same part, same manufacturer.

Purchased a Power Torque 12 volt air compressor from them then when the fuse blew out I went to get a new fuse and couldn't find one locally. Called O'Reilly's general help number and told them. They looked it up and said the fuse would be in Orville store next day. Went to pick it up and was wrong fuse and they don't even carry the fuse and didn't offer to order one for me. Just said. "Basically you're on your own you can get one from Amazon." So in this whole shabacal I spent hours of my time and drove 40 miles to get what was supposed to be the right fuse which wasn't. Called the general help again and they said the same thing. "You're on your own. Get it somewhere else." No help from them whatsoever. Won't be shopping here again and I don't recommend anyone buys their O'Reilly's exclusive air compressor without making sure you can get a fuse to run it. Bad service!

Went into O'Reilly East 24 Hwy Independence. I was the only customer. Announced to the customer service rep I needed help finding fuses for a 2011 Acadia Denali. He pointed out where the fuses were. I reiterated I needed help because I found out not all fuses were the same. He acted irritated like he had a slew of customers and I repeat I was the only one. He finally after I said, "So I will go take a picture of the fuses in my fuse compartment" since he was not helping to hopefully identify what I needed. I finally picked the 25 amp fuse and the 40 amp fuse and an amp puller. And approached the register.
At this time a female had showed up and cashed out another customer while I stood in line behind a person. The man that didn't help me was cashing out. The other customer service rep disappeared to the back of the store. It started out just me in the store. Two people came in were helped and I was still in the store not sure if I got the right fuses or not. I announced, "So I'll just leave these right here since no one seems to want my patronage and send my sons maybe they'll get some help." I'm a 60 year old woman who has worked on my cars a lot over the years. I think I was treated. Like a 60 year old woman who they didn't see as a valued customer.

They were super helpful and replaced my dead car battery even though it was close to closing time and a little rainy out. We had tried autozone right before that but they refused to help. Super grateful to Oreilly.
