My son purchased a car from them on June 19th. The car broke down on June 21 with a supposed blown engine. They wanted me to pay to have it towed from Los Banos to Chowchilla, due to the 50/50 warranty. It has to be repaired by them. They charged us $1150 to pay for half of an engine and they have had the car since it was towed on June 21. It has been more than 5 weeks waiting to get the car back to no avail. This is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a car dealer. They are unknowledgeable, uncaring, and overpriced. They would not give my son an itemized breakdown of costs but wanted him to pay an amount that they told him to pay. I am frustrated. I am going to file with the DMV, Bureau of Auto repairs and small claims court. What can I do to make these people move faster on the repair and return the car?

I have attempted to obtain my second key to my Volkswagen Jetta that I purchased from them in July of 2009. Since then, I have never missed a payment. I requested for a second key to my vehicle because the one I have does not open the trunk. I have spoken with the manager and he informed me that my contract was sold to another finance company. I then contacted them and they informed me that the auto sales place (Las Palmas) still had the key. I called them back and spoke with the receptionist. She was very rude. I then spoke with the manager again and he told me that if I ever called again, the key would mysteriously disappear.

I was purchasing a 1993 Ford Bronco from this dealership. After I took it off the lot, it ran smooth for about a month or so. After that I noticed that my driver window doesn't roll up and my rear window does not roll down. My fan flew out and cracked my radiator and my water pump completely fell out while driving on the highway. Also, I had a part connected to my transmission that did not have all the bolts on it and it wasn't secure which caused the part to crack around it. The car ran for a month or so and all this happened after it was taken off the lot. The vehicle stopped running a month after I had it for about a week. Two months later, it stopped running for 2-3 weeks and it stopped running in February 2010 and still is undrivable. This has caused me to miss numerous days of school and work.
