Jaime of San Leandro, CA October 17, 2009 I bought a 2006 Scion Tc car with only 33,614 miles, the car was for sale with manufacture warranty for all over the car until 36,000 miles and for 60,000 miles for power and transmission. got the car on a Saturday Sep/05/09 drove the car to install an alarm and car were park until Sep 08/09 drove to Sacramento to work and on the first 2 miles the ABS light come ON, took the car to the Maita toyota dealer to be inspected and they told me that the car has signs of been an accident I told them NO, I ask the Bay City Auto for a carfax and fax it to the dealership directly, the carfax has no record what so ever, not even a oil change register in it. Bay City told me that he car has no problems what so ever and that the car it's clean and in good conditions, they aslo said that they have the car from a bank repo. the dealer told me that it won't cover any wuarranty because the car as been in an accident and it waives any wuarranty, I took the car to a mechanic shop close from home and they told me the same thing, that the car has been damage and some how it got fix wrong. they also point out a transmision leak, I called the car lt again and ask them what are they going to do about that, they said nothing, I told them to think about how they are going to give the money back for the repairs, the mechanic sop fix the axles in order to fix the ABS problem, they even have to take the car to a Body shop to straight the chasis in order to fit the new parts. I told the car lot that the repairs will cost $1400.00 and that we are still need to fix the transmission leak, they didn't said anything and offer no help at all. the car was at the shop for 3 whole weeks to repair the axle problems; just drove the car again last week up to Sacramento and took it to the dealer again to inspect the transmission and they told me that there is not wuarranty again because of the accident that the car has been. they replace one of the seals from the transmission and will see if the leak will take care off. I paid about $470.00 for that repair and will take the car back to them in 2 weeks to make sure it is OK, if not then they have to change another seal from it and it will be another charge. I'm very frustrade it about this, the car lot sold me a Salvage car for a good condition car. All i ask is for the car lot to been responsable on the repairs and or to take the car back and or give my money back, I gave a downpayment of $6,000.00 plus the repairs $1860.00, $370.00 for the alarm system and $300.00 to the credit union who's financing the loan. checking pricing on the same car model and within same miles with a salvage title they don't cost more than $7,000.00 I'll appreciated any help and suport that you can do for me, and to put a stop on this frauds.
