Brenda of Canton, GA February 6, 2007

We agreed to a deal with me co-signing with my son for a used truck. The deal then did not go thru and they wanted us to come back in a sign more papers. Well when we went in the interest had jumped for 11% to 16.50% and the payment jumped from 571 to 650 a month.

We then told them that we could not do that, we told them we would just take his other truck that he traded in back and just go home. Well the truck was there when we got there in clean up and when it was time for them to give us our truck back they said it had went to auction.

The then come back and said that they could leave the deal as is and we told them after everything they tried to do we just wanted the truck back. I got a letter from the used car manager stating that they would have our truck back to us by 6pm on Monday.

Well needless to say they were not able to get our truck back and are now forcing us to keep the truck. Is there anything that I can do about this? I do not see how they could sell a truck that did not belong to them because the original deal was not good because they had told us it did not go through and we never signed anymore papers.

They have called us and told us that we had not choice and then told us that if we did pay for the truck it would be repossed. They have been very nasty about the whole thing and the used car manager will not return my calls.

They know they are in the wrong but I am not sure if anything can be done.
