ATM Auto Sales, Santa Clarita, CA

T.A.D. of Newhall, CA writes:

I purchased this 1995 BMW IS  for $22,300.00 cash and started finding out things about the automobile that dealership lied about. Such as car was in a collision, there where numerous missing pieces such as the auxilary fan all the wiring and harnesses to make the air condition work properely.

There is missing spoiler peices from the vehicle undernieth the car which protect the radiator. And most important the car is unsafe to drive because the air bags will not work if car is in a accident because proper parts are not installed. Also someone at the dealership took a black marker and scratched out the air bag warning light on display conceal.

I tried to talk to the dealership about the car and they more or less said screw you to bad. So now I don't know what to do.

Well, there's not much use losing sleep over it because there probably isn't anything you can do about it.  If a car salesman tells you something, it is absolutely meaningless unless you get it in writing or have 50 witnesses.  He could tell you the car was Air Force One if he wanted to.  If -- a big if -- you got any kind of warranty on the car, you may be able to get the dealer to fix any obvious problems, but if you bought it "as is," you're on your own.   Sorry.
