i purchased an extended warranty and recently submitted a claim. the claim is legimate and the company denied it saying there was a pre-existing condition just because i only had the waranty for 36 days. they have no proof or evidence to support their claim. 800 dollars i had to pay for a water pump on my car because my claim was denied

Daniel of Stafford, VA May 18, 2009

This clear violator clearly is spoofing the caller ID tag, as I have received "return calls" from other consumers in the Gaithersburg, MD area stating I was the culprit. I had received these calls as well, but would hang up. I received two such complaints, and decided I would investigate a little. I kept a log of all calls I received from the number in question, and further communications from "similar" dialers (which I believe originate from the same solicitor), however the same number is seldom seen. I viewed a Wiki that listed technologies used with caller ID, and found call tracing and call traps are useful for this type of reporting. My phone carrier supports these features by pressing *57 or #57 immediately after the call, then dialing an ISP provided toll-free number to pursue further action. I believe this may be helpful for anyone who is having this problem. Our household is also receiving mailers with a similar formatted message. I don't want to speculate, but everyone I have spoken with regarding this matter has posted a resume on a Careerhelper website. SPAM may also be attributed to this.

Kathleen of Austin, TX May 17, 2009

I have been getting calls from this company for over a year, have followed required instructions to cancel my number on their call list to no avail. They have burnt up my answering machine twice by calling me not once, not twice, not three times a day but as much as 10 times a day.

Pamela of Helena, MT May 12, 2009

This company continues to contact me on my cell phone to sell my a new warranty for my car. They are costing me minutes and no matter how often I speak to a person and tell them to stop calling me, put me on the do not call list, they continue to call me. I have told them this is harrassment and still they continue calling me from different numbers.

NORMA of NEWPORT NEWS, VA May 12, 2009

I have tried to get them to stop. IT NEVER stops! PLEASE STOP CALLING! I have not owned a car that needs extended warranty. I saw a warning on local news about the same issue. They said these phone calls have are linked to identity theft. I don't know how true. I just want the calls to STOP! Everyday for months. Disturbance and annoyance at work. Minutes used on my cell for no reason.

Debra of Monroe Twp, NJ May 12, 2009

They call my cell phone everyday and home phone - I can't get them to stop. I have told them to take me off their Do Not Call List plenty of timeand they don't. Uses Airtime on my cell phone

Leslie of Bronx, NY May 12, 2009

Despite being on no call lists I keep getting calls from these people. I have complained to them. It says Caller Unknown on the caller ID, so I end up picking up. Their timing is always poor. I need them to stop.

Tim of Newtown, PA May 11, 2009

I have received numerous calls from the Auto Warranty with an automated message. I am on the DNC so they have broken 3 laws. First to telemarket with an automated message, second to call someone on the DNC and third, when I opted to be transferred to an agent, they hung up on me.

Marianne of Syracuse, NY May 11, 2009

I receive calls stating my auto warranty is about to expire. I have no warranty on my vehicle.

Teresa of Bristow, VA May 11, 2009

I am receiving calls on my cell phone with a recorded voice telling me my auto warranty is about to expire, this is your last chance, things like that. I've always hung up, but today I got the call on my work number. My daughter has gotten the calls on her cell, and she's 13. Today I pressed 1 to see what I could learn. I spoke with Jennifer, who immediately wanted the make and model of my car, before allowing me to speak. I asked the company name, she said "Warranty Services". I asked for a number to contact a manager, she said the system is not set up for incoming calls. I said I wanted to speak to someone higher up to get the real company name, her response was in the tone of a collector when she said she'd told me the name of the company. I laughed a little and said no you didn't, she continued speaking over me, I just hung up. I wish I had written the phone number down. This phone has caller ID, but the stupid thing doesn't have any sort of recall of previous calls. Anyway, there it is, please somebody do something about this scam.
