Pampers

Dorothy of Toledo, OH February 7, 2010

I was holding my son, who is almost 6 months old, when I felt something hard in his diaper, at the top part of the diaper in the back. I changed him out of the diaper, and check to see what could be so hard in my child's diaper. I am still not sure what it is, because it is embedding into the diaper material. but whatever it may be it was hard and a little sharp.

Rita of New Berlin, WI February 4, 2010

Purchased a package of Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive 34 pack and 3 out of the 34 diapers the left velcro tape was missing, I feel if I purchase a package of diapers at this price all velcro tapes should be attached to each diaper. I will no longer be purchasing Pampers diapers.

Jason of Roanoke, IN February 3, 2010

We buy pampers at least once every two weeks. This time we bought the normal size 3 pampers baby dry. I open the box and put them away like normal. My daughter needed changed, so I opened the new diaper and took off the old one. While i was connecting the velcro tape i had noticed that the right one was not coming off. So I looked harder to notice that it was stiched into the seam. ok 1 diaper cannot hurt. I grab another one and it was fine. The next time i changed her the next diaper has the same problem. So now 2 are bad. I get curious. There are 35 BAD Diapers. What is a guy to do?

Jacquelyn of Bremerton, WA January 14, 2010

I usually use Huggies or the Costco Brand diapers but decided to use the Pampers Baby Dry size three as I needed something that would absorb all night with minimal leakage. The first time I used one my 10 month old son broke out into a bad rash that was bleading in places. Not sure if it was the diaper I used a couple more for the rest of the day. The blisters got bigger and were very painfull for him when I wiped him at diaper changes. I switched back to the Huggies and the rash disapeared. The diapers also have a very strong baby poweder smell and the outer packaging doesn't state that the diapers are scented.

I contacted Pampers via the internet and got a response the next day: "Dear Jacquelyn, Thanks for contacting Pampers. I apologize for your experience with your recent purchase of Baby Dry. Our products and packages are thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed, and we wouldn't expect the results you described. I'm sharing your report with our Health and Safety Division. Meanwhile, please hold on to the package and any remaining product for two weeks in the event our Health and Safety Division needs to retrieve them. Your satisfaction means a great deal to us so I'm also responding by postal mail. Look for my letter along with 3 10 coupons to arrive within the next 2-3 weeks. For answers to medical questions, we recommend you speak with your doctor who will be able to give you the best advice. Thanks again for getting in touch. AshleePampers Team"

My 10 month old son broke out into a bleeding rash. I was able to treat it at home by using desitin, more frequent diaper changes and changing diaper brands. I am out the money for the original box of pampers as the store will not let me return them without a recipt. Pampers wants me to hold onto them for 2 weeks incase they need to retrieve them.

I have used Pampers for all 5 of my children over a spn of 10 years and this is the first time I am so unhappy with the product. The diapesr are so thin and leak. We have twin girls that wear a size 2. I have recently conversed with a group of twin mom that are also extremely unhappy withthe switch in the product. If this product does improve, I will not buy their product again.

Jodie of Cape Town, South Africa November 12, 2009

I purchased a pack of Pampers Active Baby 4+ and I am extremely unhappy with the quality of the nappy. Since using this pack my I would have to change my daughter in the middle of the night because the nappy leaks. The nappy is the correct size for her weight and according to the promoter the nappy should last throughout the entire night. I find this unacceptable because these nappies are very expensive.

Marg of London, ON November 11, 2009

Using pampers on my 13 month old grandson. Size 4 pampers 22-37 pounds. The baby is 24 pounds. He wakes up soaking wet everyday, also some of the diapers are starting to desinigrate leaving a gel like substance on his body and in his pyjamas.

zanel of fourways, South Africa October 17, 2009

my son is now 6 months old and I am extremely disappointed with the quality of product as well as service I have gotten from pampers. Recently every time I change my son the diapers are completely unusable as the are torn on thesides and do not even have fasteners on them, I have had throw away half the diapers in the pack. So I decided to phone the 24 hour helpline on the pack and as a result I was hung up on numerous times and have not been able to lay anycomplaint.

So I went to the shop I bought it from, and they also tried to get ahold of pampers with no luck either. I am very disappointed and fully intend to start using a different brand, and I am going to spread the word to all other parents to not use pampers due to the lack of quality but most of all the disrespect to customers, and poor service.

Reshana of Port Elizabeth, South Africa October 1, 2009

I was using Pamper nappies for my baby since birth but could not affort it anymore so i changed to huggies dry comford for about two months. I now then changed back to papers super absorbent nappies because huggies wasnt working for my baby since it did not keep her very dry. Im very upset because now paying so much for a nappy that is still not keeping my baby dry and burns her bum. What do I do?
