I am a resident in a nursing home. That seems to be my only designation right now. Nursing homes work to take away your identity, your rights, and your ability to do anything independently. They should be abolished. I'm hoping that now that I have a voucher and can get out of this place things will return to normal.

I am a vegan and can't eat most of the food here. My mail is usually tampered with before I get it. There are no activities that are apropriate for a baby boomer. I feel such animosity towards old people right now , but I hope to get over it after leaving here.

No one should ever be put in a nursing home. They are prisons for people who have committed the crime of aging or being sick or disabled. The administrative staff is dictatorial and not interested in changing as long as they can lead a comfortable life. They should all burn in Hell.
