Majors Medical Supply

Nick of Tulsa , OK July 26, 2009

In May we saw an advertisement in the MDA newsletter for a medical/computer product, the Impulse. We reviewed information and the product guarantee on the manufacturer's, Ablenet, website and selected a vendor from the website, Majors Medical Supply. We contacted Kelsey Trammel at Majors, ordered the Impulse and on May 20 Majors charged my credit card for 2374. We received it on June 3. After several weeks of trying to use the Impulse we determined that it would not work for me.

We reviewed the money back guarantee, determined we qualified, and contacted Kelsey Trammel at Majors on June 16. Kelsey told us to go through Ablenet for a refund under the guarantee. Ablenet requested the pick slip be sent with the Impulse, which Kelsey emailed to us. After this time all communication has been via email. We received an RMA and shipped the Impulse directly to Ablenet. On June 26 Ablenet confirmed they received the Impulse, a credit had been issued, and that we should get our money back in a few days. On July 9 Kelsey emailed and mailed a letter saying Majors was going to charge me a 20% restocking fee.

This was the first we had seen or heard of this, and was surprising since Majors didn't restock it. on July 22 Ablenet confirmed that Majors received a refund in June and attached a copy of the credit note. Kelsey emailed me saying Majors was working with Ablenet to get my refund. I emailed Kelsey informing her that they received a refund from Ablenet in June. Kelsey read my email on July 23 at 4:43 pm and did not respond.
